Randomness...

Today I sheduled 2 hours with my trainer and I'm going to shoot for an hour of cardio. If I dont get cardio in today I wont have a chance until late sunday. Snowboarding might leave my legs hurting like it did last time. Lets see.

I tried to get up this morning at 5am to get to the gym for a quick 30 min or so, but I failed at getting up. My alarms progressively wake me up with a series of loud obnoxious sounds (pinball machine, bomb siren, dogs barking and classic beeping alarm; they cycle). Since I neeever get enough sleep I need 5 alarms to wake myself to get ready for work. An alarm goes off every 5-10 minutes from 7am-750am.

Man I wish I could go on the biggest loser. If I ever got on the show I know I would make good use of the experience. I don't think I'm big enough, or that out of shape to get on it though.

Is it odd that I often think to myself (and tell my boss regularly) that I wouldnt mind getting fired from my job? It's not that I don't like my job, I do, but I know that I would be focused at the gym and stay there for 3-4 hours daily.

The thought of making the gym my job makes me happy.

My trainer seems like a happy guy. Wakes up, walks down the block. goes to the gym and helps people all day. Some day I'm thinking of doing the same, although I would never attempt it with my body looking like this.

Ok I'm done being random for now.

Im SO happy with today. Went to the gym and worked out with my trainer for 2 hours and then did 50+ minutes of cardio. I see no point in adding up numbers right now, but I feel great about it all.

Also on top of that I ate perfect today. This feels great.

The only thing that wasn't good about today is that I didnt drink much water, except when i was working out. I'm going to catch up a bit before bed.

Going to have my protein shake and a salad with some fat free dressing.

Your alarm clock sounds hilarious. I want one! Also, props on the snowboarding thing. I live right by a ski hill, and can't board or ski at all. Was it hard to learn? It's so COLD!

I think there should be a biggest loser for not-so-big people. It would be awesome! Imagine having trainers all day, no work, food prepped for you. Or what about more of a bootcamp style, one-armed pushups and mud and all that? Did you watch the biggest loser on Tuesday? Bob went crazy on the grey girl, and it was awesome.

Looks like you are doing great with food and exercise, nicely done my friend!

hey Lizzie,

Yea my alarm is pretty epic. Goes off for litterally an hour making different sounds. I love the iphone.

This is my second time snowboarding. It wasnt hard to learn. I trained for 30 minutes before I started on the hills, but it was really fun when i started. I thought I was hot shit the first time I went down. Got all the way to the bottom and tried to make a fancy turn.... toppled over. Hilarious. :-D

Yea I would love to do the biggest loser. It'd be awesome. I met one of the twins from back when the biggest loser was all about singles. I think their names were jim and bob? I met Jim while I was paintballing in PA. we talked for 20-30 min. I gushed like he was a huge star. went up to him and said "i know you." he was like, "Yea its me" lol. He was so ready to be noticed.

I was so happy when he yelled at that gray member. complaining about trying hard and doing her best. Maybe there was some struggle not being shown, but she looked like she was lazy from the edited footage.

I made up for the pizza today. burned what i ate.

Had a fun weekend, but one that was not good for my diet.

Ate poorly for the whole weekend. Each decision was harder and harder, but chose badly each time.

My spirits are still high and I realize that I have to be extra careful on the weekends. Its so hard to keep my will power going strong when at a place with a bunch of friends.

I still feel good though.

snowboarding is fun, did that for 7 hours on saturday. Did light swimming on saturday night. will be at the gym tomorrow.

Ate good so far today. Went to the gym yesterday to do my chest workout and will be going today to do some cardio. I want to aim for 1:30 min of cardio today, lets see how it goes.

Still not drinking enough water. I feel dehydrated, but forcing so much water makes me sick.

Nutritionist appointment (consultation and body comp) on friday...time to officially start recording my weight loss.

After all of the stress I put myself through yesterday to make sure that I would go to the gym, I got home too late for it to be practical. After work I wound up having to get my car looked at and the oil and steering fluids replenished. After that I had to buy my brother a keyboard so he could practice for my bands first gig jan 30th. Wound up practicing all night. L

Dead tired today even though I got a solid 7.5 hours of sleeep. Going to the gym with trainer at 530 doing a good ammount of cardio also.

Need to drink water, I'm all bound up.

Went to the gym today and ate ok. At the gym I did 120 or so push ups 18 dips and 35 min of cardio at a hr of 150-170 (intervals).

Feeling good.

Had some home made stuffed peppers with brown rice and turkey meat (2). some weight watchers pasta dish with chick peas and escarole. Sweet potatoes and high fiber flax chips.

I start my nutrisystem free diet tomorrow. I'm kinda nervous, but at the same time Im excited to get away from all that fish gelatin. Grrooooosss!!!

Anyway. Have not played wow in a while. I feel like playing for a little bit, but probably won't.

Never played wow, instead I played my guitar and talked to people online.

I'm thinking of taking up cooking as a new hobby.... hmm

Been eating almost perfect since quitting nutrisystem. I have high protein/fiber foods for almost every meal and as well as low sodium/sugar foods.

Saturated fat is also decreased dramatically. The only thing thats fairly fatty is the non dairy creamer I use in my coffee. I stopped using it though and only used it this morning.

Working out has been fun and cardio has been entertaining (yea i know cardio and entertaining shouldnt be in the same sentence). Since I dont play wow anymore I feel as if I have so much more time and that I should continue to workout because there isn't anything to do at home thats 'more important'.

If I ever start playing again, and im sure i will, I will make sure to do so in moderation and say no to my friends who are needy with my time.

This journal thing is helping alot. Writing down my thoughts for all to see helps me stay on track. Anyone reading anymore?

Finally some good results!

Lost 11lbs in the last 2.5 weeks. Most of this weight should be considered water weight, but I'm still happy and pumped for the rest to burn off.

The weekend was not good for my diet. Met up with a friend who I havent seen in a while. He requested to go to one of my favorite italian deli's in brooklyn. Had some bad food there. All weekend has been crappy.

Still trying to train myself on better eating habits.

I have to realize that all this work that I'm doing will be for nought if I dont learn to eat better. The weight will just slip back while I'm not looking. (its happened to me before, but I cant let it happen again!)

Didn't even realize I posted something about weight loss already. I have to stop drinking. Drank so much that I blacked out. Cant remember that whole night.

Although I am not a heavy drinker and only do it maybe once every 2 months, I no longer enjoy the feeling and do not want to do it anymore. Lets see how this goes.
