BEAR DOOOOWN, CHICAGO BEEEEEARS!!!

When I heard that we traded for Cutler, I literally got a huge erection. It was so hard that you could hang clothes from it. Finally, we have a REAL quarterback!!!

I used to live like 4 blocks away from Wrigley, AKA - the best place in the world. I spent like 90% of my money on the bars that were in the area. Like, Murphy's Bleachers. Mmm, many of drunken nights/days at that place

Speaking of drunkyness...I'm getting there right now. Yeeeeeah, I'm awesome.

So, I'm drinking a lot of beers right now...I won't lie. But, I've been thinking a lot about our challenge. I think that some people are scared. Actually, I KNOW that some people are scared.

Change is a scary thing, no matter what is changing. I just hope that everybody in the contest knows that I'm scared too. I'm scared of losing weight. I'm scared of living with a new body. I'm scared of disappointment...

I'm scared of letting everybody down.

But, I'm stronger than fear. And, so is everybody else. Sure, there will be moments that people feel weak, but that's when I'll swoop in underneath them and lift them up. For my whole entire life, I've been a support beam. People lean on me for stability and I never let them down. Sure, there's a lot of pressure that gets dumped on me, but...I can handle it. I don't crumble under pressure; I stay strong and welcome the weight on my shoulders, no matter how bad it hurts.

Nobody better quit on this contest, because I'll be the first one to drag them back into the center of the ring and piledrive them into success. We are a fucking family; a family that loves eachother and will support eachother, no matter what. The Sopranos are fucking bitches compared to us. We are about to embark on a journey that only the brave can handle and, to be honest, I am proud of the companions that I get to travel with. We're going to make it. Sure, there will be dark moments and there will be times where motivation is questioned; but, I'll dig down deep and muscle everybody through those tough times and pull them into the fields of success.

I don't care if I finish last. In fact, the only way that I can finish last is if I finish first. A true leader puts their teammates first and themselves second. Well, I'm far from second...I'm dead last. And, I'm happy to be there. This contest isn't about me or some stupid bathing suit. This contest is about my friends and I love my friends more than I love my own family. I would die for my family and I'll sacrifice myself for my friends. This challenge is going to change all of our lives...for the better...I promise.

And, I've NEVER broken a promise.

I won't let you down.

Yay you made a journal! I'm still too lazy to make a journal. Besides I already have a blog out in cyberspace that I try to update weekly. I'm also 27 years old! And believe it or not my fiancée has a similar body type as you do, but he is very tall, so his belly looks smaller despite him being 315lbs.

Anywho, I wanted to comment on your very first post, because I also suffered from a suicide attempt, except it landed me locked up for 72 hours in a mental ward. That wasn't fun. I was diagnosed with Clinical Depression after that and slowly worked on my issues that I was dealing with. This was about 5 years ago. I still have my scars on my arm from it and it is a daily reminder for me on how far I have come from that day.

And I do truly believe that we need humor in our lives! Because without humor, well then life just sucks.

And I am sure if given the opportunety, a few ladies would take care of your lack of sexy times with a woman.

And sorry for the lack of bewb admission. My fiancée has already claimed them. Hehe.

Every scar tells a story. The scar on my wrist reads like a novel of my past and I'm forced to be reminded of it on a daily basis. It sucks, but...it also helps in a weird way.

It's ok about the boobies too. I don't ever get to see any anyway, so it's alright. Sometimes, just to make myself feel like I'm seeing boobies, I take off my shirt, shave my chest, put on a Halloween wig, stand in front of the mirror, wiggle back and forth and pretend that I'm looking at a topless pregnant woman.

I would let Brian Urlacher finger me. Seriously, even with a ring on.

I realized that there are going to be some pretty dark moments during this contest for some people. People are going to get tired, frustrated and lack motivation at times. During those moments, darkness will blind them and keep them from seeing the light.

Just remember...

When the moon comes out to play and darkness blankets the world, that's when the stars shine their brightest. You are a star and the darkness of night can't keep you from shining.

So, I just got off the phone with a good friend of mine. During our conversation, we talked about how weird kissing was. Don't ask me why, it just happened. Anyway, kissing is weird. Two people show eachother their affection by touching lips together and making a "smooching" noise. It's really, really weird, you know? But, no matter how weird it is...it's a very powerful thing.

I haven't been kissed in a really long time. It's funny, but you don't realize how much of an impact that kissing can have on your life until you stop getting kissed. To me, a kiss isn't just a kiss. It's something much, much more than that.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, than a kiss is worth millions. It's impossible to explain until you feel it, but something as simple as a kiss can literally transmit thoughts, feelings, fears and emotions all in a matter of an instant. It's amazing. It's truly amazing. But, even though a kiss is a simple thing, it's also very complex.

The power that a kiss holds is unlike any other. The one thing that seperates human beings from all other animals isn't our opposable thumbs or the fact that we walk upright; it's the emotion of love. The emotion of love is more powerful than any god, more meaningful than any event in history and more important than life itself. But, it's a kiss that can make the emotion of love come to life. A lot of people believe that the act of sex is the most intimate that you can get with somebody, but I whole-heartedly disagree. The most intimate and connected you will ever get with somebody is during a kiss.

A kiss can make you smile. A kiss can give you hope. A kiss can wipe away your tears. A kiss can flood your face with tears of joy. A kiss can evoke vivid memories of happiness. A kiss can make you forget the pain that consumes your life. A kiss, a simple kiss, can make you feel alive.

I don't feel alive right now. I feel dead. I feel useless. I feel weak and hopeless. But, in a sick twist of irony, I feel like I'm about to set the world on fire and burn down every moment of tragedy that's been built up over the years. Why do I feel like that? Because, of our contest.

Our contest isn't just about weight loss. It's about much, much more than that. It's about getting healthy. It's about conquering my fears. It's about admitting that my lifestyle choices have been wrong for the past few years. It's about a new beginning. It's about my future. It's about a new tomorrow. Hopefully, that new tomorrow will lead to better things. Hopefully, that new tomorrow ends with a kiss.

I haven't been kissed in a long time. I miss it. I really do. But, I know that a kiss is so powerful that the next woman who kisses me has the potential to make me forget about all the years of heartache and loneliness that I've endured. Nothing on the face of the earth can make me feel that way. Only a kiss can work magic like that.

I don't believe in magic, but that's only because I haven't felt any in a while. A kiss is so powerful that it can make someone believe in magic...even me.

I know that I seem kind of emo right now, and for that, I apologize. But, the only people who know the truth about the magic of kisses are the people who aren't getting them. I'm not getting them. Believe me when I say that something as simple, yet, so complex as a kiss can literally save your life.

I'm hoping that our contest will serve as a kiss to all of the people who are partcipating in it. And, even people who aren't. If I could, I'd kiss each and every one of you. I want you to know that you matter. I want you to know that people care about you. I want you know that you're beautiful...

I want to save your life.

Pucker up...your life is about to change.
