Reason: To complete food journal started earlier in the day and add workout info.

Rep Power: 3 | | | Another pretty good day Soooo, I was kind of bummed this morning cuz I weighed in and am stuck at 202. But...I know if I keep up the hard work it HAS to move. So I am not sweatin it too bad. I was really motivated all day, which was good b/c of all the temptation to be bad I had. I literally had three different people ask me if I wanted to order in fast food with them at work today (Portillos, Jimmy Johns, and Chinese...I turned down all three and ate what I brought), then a girl offered me a homemade turtle brownie....said no thanks (then she asked AGAIN....hello...I SAID no!!) THEN, it was freezing out so my hubby did not want to bring my youngest son with to my oldest son's tball practice....which messed up my plan for going str8 to the gym. BUT...did I let that get in my way....nope...I came home and did a pilates dvd!!
So I feel good about my choices today.
B-Cheerios w/ ff skim milk-160
apple juice-110
coffee (I run on Dunkin'...lol) 120
L-Rice and Peas-260
crackers and milk-230
S-Granola Bar-150
Crackers-80
Carrots-35
D-Broccoli Cheese stuffed Ck breast-310
Potatoes-110
Total-1575
Played basketball for about 20 mins (worked up a good sweat) Pilates DVD
Drank 10g water (glasses, not gallons silly)
Peace! |

Rep Power: 6 | | WOOO!! awesome day! You should be proud you made such good choices, and resisted everything they threw at you. You also gave me the little push I needed to decide I will walk to the gym today. My hubby has a doctors appt and we share a car so my lazy side switched on and was whispering bad things like well we could just skip it... and I know full well we are going shopping late tonight so it will most likely be fast food for dinner and I NEED to go to the gym.
You have sooo much more then me to do in your day and yet your still making time to workout and eat better.. you're doing great, keep it up. And the scale will move, just give it time. I have been stuck for 3 weeks twice now and that is just since jan lol. |

Rep Power: 3 | | I have been sooooo busy....wanted to log on friday, and it's Sunday and I am just now finding time. Good news is..........The scale moved to 200...on the dot. That was as of friday a.m. I have not weighed myself since and won't again till tuesday. But I have been eating wise and went jogging saturday a.m. I did have drinks (lite beers and rum and diet cokes) friday and sat so I know that could mess up my h20 for a couple days.
I feel good though. I have not been as good about my food journaling, however I know I have been in range every day. I plan to pick up the journaling again tomorrow a.m. It really helps, epsecially during the week. I may not even try to be THAT religious about it on the weekends. I think I could still stay pretty close to my calorie goals now that I am getting used to it. I am staying right about 1600 a day. I know now that I am working out I could go higher but I am comfortable there and don't want to up it. I have read mixed things about that which leads me to think everybodys bodies are different and I will just have to see how it goes.
So thats how I am. Now to go check on my peeps!! |

Rep Power: 6 | | Congrats on the 2 pounds!! I feel you on the busy weekend. Your doing a great job, keep it up!
Yeah there are lots of mixed views on the calories and everyone's body is different. My only worry would be no matter how much you workout as you lose weight you have to lower your calories down and starting at 1600 doesn't allow much wiggle room. But if your happy there and its working for you then stick with it! I just get worried about it cause of what I went through for so long, but like you said.. were all different and what works for you might not work for me. |

Rep Power: 3 | | Horrible Migraine today. ICK! I ate crappy foods here and there (some chips..a bagle...one slice of frozen pizza) but not a ton of calories....probably about 1300. I don't know. No work out either. So now I am depressed and frustrated AND in pain. rrrrrrrrr. Bad day here. Hoping to wake up feeling better and do much better tomorrow. |

For whatever reason I am having a hard time finding time to jump on here and post. I have been doing ok. Not great but not bad. I am weighing myself tomorrow so I wil have a poundage to verify that...lol. I just got my period (which was 3 wks late) and had the worst migraines last week (3 of them) so I have no idea where I stand.
Today was a great day tho. I ate healthy and after work did Billy Blanks Boot Camp DVD -God am I out of shape!!!!! Anyway. I had a starwberry banana protein shake for dinner (210 calories and 68 grams of protein!!)
So I feel better after a crap week and wil weigh in tomorrow with a weight to post. This is not happening as fast as I would like...but I know it takes time. And SOlty, thanks for the reminder...your right...NO EXCUSES!! =) |

Rep Power: 3 | | I have been doing bad with logging in and posting regularly. I have been eating so-so and working out 2-3 x a week.
SO.......not really doing nearly as well as I should. This is the hump I can never ever get past. I am not counting calories anymore either. BUT.....will weighmyself tomorrow and start fresh.
I put the final payment down for our Cruise to the Bahamas the first week in Oct. My goal is to lose 40 lbs before then (yikes). I can do it. I know I can. I just have to work really hard. I am going to get back into the workout thing hard core and substitute protein shakes for dinner everynight except one. Thats the current plan. And eat healthy stuff during the day as well.
If at first you don't succeed..... try and try again, right?
So....her'e we go again. One of these times has to work, right?????

Rep Power: 6 | | You can do it. Thats about 10 pounds a month so you just need to make sure your on track everyday. You should have a little something with your protein shake for dinner. Maybe veggies or fruit.. even some carbs couldn't hurt. It sounds like your feeling motivated again so thats good!
What are you doing for exercise now? If just cardio I want to beg you to go buy a cheap set of weights and start a strength training routine. Losing weight is great but losing weight and revealing a tight toned body under there is even better, especially on a cruise :P The way lunges.. squats, curls, chest press etc.. change your body is amazing.
Stick with it!! You'll be a hot momma come cruise time. |

I have been mixin it up. This week....
Mon-Run/walk for 2 miles
Tues- Pilates
Wed-Spin class (1 hr)
Thurs- Strength training class (1 hr)
Tomorrow I am taking off, as I anticipate not being able to move much from tonights class...killer. The guy teaching it was lunge happy. Holy soreness!!
But as my hubby says...Pain is weakness leaving the body
I did feel still really hungry after the shake. I ate ok today tho I think....especially considering how hard I worked out.
Br-Bagle w/ cream cheese and coffee
Lunch-BLT Sandwhich, Diet coke
SN-Berry Protein smoothie
Din-Spinach and chicken salad, string cheese
Sn-mini bb muffin pouch.
In my estimations it is under 1800 calories so I am ok with that. Overall it has been a great week, and I am very motivated. I will jog sat a.m. then take sunday off again. I think that schedule will work for me. Fridays and Sundays off.
