Welcome Irish! I'm sorry to hear you are becoming discouraged despite trying so very hard. You are really running on empty there buddy. I agree w/ Disciple, you are not getting any protein at all and it seems no fat either. Our bodies need protein, fats and carbs to survive optimally and healthily. How many calories would you say that adds up to? I wonder if you're eating enough. How tall are you and what do you weigh in pounds? Keep your chin up while you figure this out .
i was pounds 323 now im 308 but ive stopped losing weight
dude you are gunna hit walls but just keep trucking man keep pushing through them some walls take more work to knock down but when you get through it your a champion.....write down everything you eat start getting hard core with this
OK, so it sounds like you are starving yourself and maybe that is why you have stopped losing weight. Your body needs enough calories to operate and it sounds like you are consuming far less than your body needs. In addition, you are not getting any protein or fats in needed portions. Protein is very helpful to weight loss and there is nothing evil about fats either, they are needed. Recommendation: eat 3 balanced meals which include proteins (like meat, eggs etc), fats and carbs. Make sure you're eating enough calories for your size. Get off this rigid diet mentality where you can only lose weight if you starve or eat gross plain foods. That is not true, I lost 30 lbs eating 1850 calories per day, and I am far smaller than you so you should be able to eat even more than that.
Why the all or nothing approach? Why go from a diet that sustained 300 lbs to one that would sustain a flea? How about cutting down from where you started, instead of going overboard on a diet that you will never stick with for the long haul needed to get all the excess weight off.. Try reading the stickies around here regarding nutrition. Hope your plans get you where you want to be .
Try trading the cornflakes, bread and potatoes for some fish and chicken. Swapping starches for protein could break your plateau, especially since you're seemingly active.
change your workout routine, you can plateau with that as well. the body gets accustomed to walking 4 miles a day, change it up, chop some wood, or etc...
