Red face

For larger sized ppl at first they will drop lbs like hot cakes when they first start exercising and eating well. That eventually slows down once a person reaches their goal weight, if that is in fact a healthy size.

Weird though it was taking me two weeks to lose 1 lb for a little bit, and than once I kept on with the right foods and hopefully right amount and on-going exercise, I started to lose 1 lb a week. Which was exciting, and than for a few weeks there, I got quite worried too, I was dropping 1.5-2.5 lbs per week. I wasn't eating enough.

But I hope someone that knows what they're talking about answers your post and gives you some good advice, I am curious as well.

Man, i've just killed myself. Almost. I went for a brisk 20 minute walk to the local castle, spent 20 minutes walking around and then 20 minutes walking back. Didn't even feel any chafe until 3 minutes from my house. It was lovely walking in the sun, but i'm still a little worried about the previous question, I don't want to find out i've been eating too little because i've been burning off the calories I should be eating.

I walked over 5 damn miles today. It didn't bother me whatsoever. But the hayfever did. It hit me right smack in the middle of like a one mile long field. God damn it.

Do you wear a hat when you go out? That really helps. Remember to keep yourself hydrated as well throughout the day.

No I don't.. er.. I don't look too good in hats. Haha. Look at my photos on here and then imagine me in a hat

I walked 8 miles in total the last two days and somehow put on two pounds in weight. I'm a little miffed to why.

Okay you're probably not going to like my answer...but I don't see anything at all wrong with the way you look...I think you would look just fine in a hat...ball cap, something that covers your head so you don't get sick. but if you're really not up for it, some sunscreen and water!!!

Okay well keep in mind that darn body fluctuates A LOT, and maybe just maybe you're working those muscles and they're growing!! WOOT! Keep it up The Franchise!! You're going to rock it, and than be like How'd that happen?!?!

Haha, thankyou. I do sometimes think that you're my number one fan

I know I should stop weighing myself every night, but I'm simply too curious. I'm also too paranoid about my weight, that if I left it a few days i'd be worried that I was putting weight on.

I have lost over a stone but yet can't see any results. I just wish my stomach would go down a little. That's the area that bothers me the most, that stops me swimming, or running without a top while exercising. (well, walking, still haven't reached that part..)

Didn't do any exercising today, just a walk to the shop and back. I'm going to be doing a 'big' walk every other day. I'm going to make the castle walk a regular one, if I can last. When I went the other day, I only just made it back to my house before I collapsed. But that was non-stop, I suppose I could stop, sit down and enjoy the scenery for 20 minutes while i'm there.

I think i'm right in saying you lose more weight consistently by moving, rather than cooling off for a 20 minute break and having to start it again.

A little thought process so far.

It's been some 36 days since my diet began. Things started off well with losing large amounts of weight (which is to be expected for a large guy dieting at first) but seems to have levelled off a little since, now losing the recommended 1-2lbs a week. But as somebody told me, this isn't a diet exactly, just a lifestyle change, and even if my weight goes down by even 0.5lbs a week, at least it's going down and not up. So i'm very happy with how things are going.

I'm walking a hell of a lot more these days, with a recent 60 minute non-stop brisk walk, and a casual five mile walk too. I'm trying to branch out into other exercises, i'm going along with my sister to her aerobics class on Monday, but i'm told you'll die the first time you go.

Who said progress was easy, though?

I'm also going to be keeping a track of the number of sit-ups and press-ups I can do, every day.

I managed just five of each today. Very embarrassing, but I guess i'll try for six tomorrow. Sit-ups were harder than I thought, I could only get about 90% sitting upright, before having to really, really fight it to get all the way up.

Very bad times indeed.

The struggle continues. Eating well and exercising apparently is not enough to take weight off me. Put on half a pound. Sigh.

How could it wreck your body in the morning? Are you having pain that lasts quite a bit?

Yes. I'm not sure if it's related or not, but last night I did some press ups and sit ups. I might have overdone it a little (small steps.) because when I woke up, my ribs and chest felt really tight. Today i've been really ill with headrushes all day, and my body has gone super weak, I couldn't even pick up my drink earlier as my hands were so clammy.

It's not good. I'm gonna have to call in sick tomorrow, something that I really don't need or want to do.

Apologies for lack of updates. The last post I spoke in, turned out to be a viral infection, so i've been in bed pretty much every hour of the day since Saturday.

I've also put ON weight, which is annoying.
