Well, I am wanting to start losing weight. Though I have heard stories about loose skin. I am 16 years old and have been fat my whole life. I weigh 239lbs and my doctor said I should weigh 130, since I am 5'3''

So that is 109lbs to lose. I was wondering if losing that much weight would cause loose skin and how I prevent loose skin. I have read that if you are younger it helps. I also have stretch marks but my older ones look like to be fading. I have heard that if you have stretch marks you will have loose skin.

I was wondering if someone could give me some advice on how to prevent loose skin or if I might have it. Thanks.

Eat right, Strength train and lose the weight slowly over time and you won't have anything to worry about. And if you do, it won't be much at all and being so young it will bounce back in no time at all. Worry about losing weight first and then even if you hit the lose skin bridge deal with it then.
