Day 11

Thanks guys, I hit the point where I usually lose speed and move on to another project, but I'm not going to do that this time, I just got to figure out some more ways to keep with it.

Today wasn't the best, but yesterday I had a good day. I spent an hour and a half at the gym with my whole family (I can't do as much as the boys who have been going for longer, but I got in some extra time stretching, and it was nice to not have to watch the clock). After that we went to a friend's house to watch the fireworks. I was able to bypass most of the desserts (though I did grab a couple cookies) and mostly nibbled on carrots and peanuts.

Today my engry level was just shot. But I figured this would be my rest day. I had four servings of fruit and veggies, so not quiet 5 but close. I even got in some blueberries.

Tomorrow I'm going to try to do even better.

Finally back

Well I have been off the forums for awhile, first with computer issues, then with a trip, but I'm finally home and back online.

I have been eating things I shouldn't while on my trip, but I'm hoping I get back on track in a hurry.

I'm still having issues with only eating alittle. It's funny, I never thought I ate that much more then everyone else, but looking at the labels, I sure eat more then the serving size...

Hi Othie, welcome back to the forum. Its the same for me when i go away, I tend to forget about better choices i could be making and my portion sizes go out the window. I have a friend that puts half of her dinner *when out at a restaurant* in a take home container before even eating her meal. I have yet to do that, but it does work well for her.
Good for You for coming back on line and keep reading those lables. I think portion sizes are an issue for most. I thought my boy friend was going to pass out when I showed him what an actual portion of pasta for one person was...lol

Thanks Brazen! I'm going to have to try that one next time I'm out.

Lets see, today I went to the gym, but ended up only doing half what I usually do because a someone from class found me and we started talking about the paper thats due. I went walking with my mom yesteray, but she wasn't feelin so great so we came back at the half way point. I really need to get going more. I just can't seem to get in the mood, maybe I should hang some pictures or something...
