Rep Power: 27 | | Yay!!!!!!! I am so happy for your new low!
Interesting about the low estrogen. I too suffer from that as well as thyroid condition. I wonder if adding estrogen would help me after I have this baby??? The doc didn't want to put me on the estrogen therapy until My thyroid was straightened out a bit. I may get the doc to consider this when I FINALLY have this baby. 14 more weeks!!!!!! |

Rep Power: 45 | | Wow Amy, that's unbelievable that you only gained 18 lbs! Yes, it seems that all of the hormones need to be properly balanced for optimal weight loss. Let's see what happens..
I've been eating really well calorie wise and also lots of fruits and veggies, but perhaps not getting enough protein and calcium. Here's what I had yesterday:
*2 chalah rolls w/ butter
*salad w/ romaine, carrots, cucumber, feta cheese
*fruit salad
*shake: cucumber, water in blender
*10 Club crackers w/ spinach/feta spread
*almonds
*almond milk
The scale was at my new low. Hope to see 143.5 lbs soon (????). |

Rep Power: 45 | | Hey hey! I hit yet another new low! Another 1/2 pound down to 143.5 lbs. Granted I didn't eat much at all yesterday, but still, normally over the past 2 years when I would eat very little the scale would still just go up and down up and down, so I must say I am so very pleasantly surprised! Here's what I ate yesterday, nothing much healthy in there:
*2 chalah rolls w/ butter
*rice/beans/guacemole/romaine/tomatoe: only ate 1/3 of my lunch
*shake: cucumber, water in blender (this really fills me up for some reason!)
*1/2 green apple
*6 pan-fried veggie dumplings
I'm doing a pro bono (free) case, trying to prevent a poor family from being evicted from their home, so I have been busy and couldn't start back at the gym this week. Will try to do some exercise in the park and on the elliptical this weekend, though I need to run around again today for my case. |

Rep Power: 45 | | Thanks friends for the props!
I was refeeding today as I was feeling depleted, and now I'm full and feeling good. Still no snacks, just some nice Spanish food for dinner. Here's my menu for today:
*1 small slice 8 grain bread
*bagel w/ cream cheese & smoked salmon (bfast)
*bagel w/ cream cheese & smoked salmon (lunch)
*1 cucumber, water in blender
*2 Jolly Ranchers (cranberry juice, watermelon Bacardi, ice)
*rice, beans, fried boneless chicken
*1 cucumber, cherry tomatoes, water in blender
*cup almond milk
*2 slices 8 grain bread w/ butter
*1 cup vanilla ice cream w/ pecans
I may even have a tad more, but nothing too bad. Still no exercise, but I hope to get out a for scenic 3 mile walk on both Sat and Sun when I go visit my mom in the country.
Hope all is well with everyone out there in internet land .

Rep Power: 45 | | Last night I ended up eating another 2 slices of 8 grain bread and 1 cup of vanilla ice cream w/ pecans. Normally after doing a "refeed" I would go up a bit the next morning, then lose the weight again the next time I eat low again, but THIS TIME the scale stayed at my new low! These pounds are just SMOKING finally! I can't believe how easy this is all of a sudden. I haven't even been exercising.
Hope everyone's having a nice weekend. I'm about to head up to my mom's house in CT and take my daughter to the beach and stuff. Its a nice sunny day out. |

Rep Power: 14 | | congrats on breaking your 2 year plateau! i can't imagine being stuck at the same weight for that long...i think i may have began banging my head off the wall in frustration. but, at least it's gone and the weight is going the correct way...off!
i hope this continues to go easy for you! in my case, the last few lbs (10 or so) are always the hardest...i can get down to 120 with some dedication to my diet and hard work at the gym, but 115 almost kills me. pasta and dessert is wayyyy to tempting!! ughh. |

Rep Power: 43 | | Good Evening sexy momma!
I'm so so happy your plateau has been squashed! Maybe the new hormones have fixed it once and for all.
Pretty good re-feed if you ask me. MMMMM I love salmon! Not sure I can do salmon and bagel, but I love them both separately. LOL LOL
I'm proud of you eating those veggies, you go girl!! I'll check in on you later, hope your evening was a great one!
Hugs

Rep Power: 45 | | Thanks Shep03 and Kim! I ate well on the weekend, except that I bought a large bag of Funyons and ate the 6 servings (baby ate 1 serving) over the course of Sat and Sun, and I also had a Whopper Jr w/ 1/2 small fries for dinner yesterday. Other than that, I ate really healthily and did a sort of re-feed again. I am still 1 pound less than I was last Monday, so that is good since my weight always hikes up after the weekend.
My mom totally noticed the weight loss, and I must say, from just a few pounds its making a big huge difference. My chin/neck is actually starting to look like it did all my life, until 3 years ago when I gained this weight. I thought it was from aging and getting older, but obviously it was plain ole fat.
I am feeling so good and just ecstatic at how things are going finally. Its been a frustrating few years and I'm hoping that its all behind me. Still not so confident.. | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
