I have been a life member of Weight Watchers for a number of years. Like you, I know what I must do to maintain my personal goal of 188 pounds when I weigh myself each morning. I have maintained the Weight Watchers goal of 196 pounds + 2 when weighing in at meetings, but the margin is getting smaller. I have been goofing off regarding my exercising while picking up road litter. I hope this blog will help keep me on track.

I keep my commitment to others much better than to myself. I need others to sponsor road sections so that I will get out their exercising when picking up road litter. I am headed out today to ask business to support me through EnviroCorps Litter Free Roads program.

looks like your just here to get financial gain from us. There are TONS of people here that have lost weight w/o getting money or sponsorship from anyone.

There is a misunderstanding here. No money goes into my pocket. I am a volunteer performing a community service. It is actually costing me money.

People do donate money to EnviroCorps, a non-profit organization. I have personally donated over $12,000 to this organization. Money is involved in just about everything, including this web page of yours with all its ads.

I have controlled my weight for many years and would like to help others by letting them know what helped me. Is there something wrong with that?

spamming is prohibited here at WLF, so in that context, yea, what your doing is wrong. if you'd like to post about your weight loss and such, thats great, but we cant' have people posting only to encourage others to financially contribute in some way or another, no matter how great the intentions. I assume your intentions are genuine, you really want to raise money for this organization and thats great, however, its still considered spam and its a no no here.

You realize in your profile you listed that YOU were the PRESIDENT of this organization. That fact totally backs up my claim that your spamming.

Jumping in to what Korrie has said, if you want to partcipate, that's great. If you've lost weight and kept it off, then your help and support is always appreciated.

But when you join 3 days ago and your only posts are soliciting contributions for the company you're the President of, then yeah, that's spamming.

I have no intentions of soliciting money from your members! I do have a strong desire to help others to loss weight. If they are like me, that may involve money that they pay or that others pay. I paid Weigh Watchers money until I reached my goal. There was an incentive for me to reach goal so that I would no longer have to pay the fee.

My point is, it often helps to be responsible to someone other than yourself. I would appreciate your support and that of others in maintaining my weigh by patrolling for road litter were others are depending on me and encouraging me on.

I agree that we should drop the subject. The only problem is I obviously do not understand your definition of spam. I will do my best not to be inappropriate post on this form.

I gained one pound from yesterday. I spent my time walking from one business to another. That gave me exercise and everyone was friendly and supportive which made me feel good. I hope you have had a good day also. I look forward to your support in maintaining my public (fully dressed) goal and reaching my personal goal of 188 pounds in my birthday suit.

I checked this post and there was no photo. I then discovered that there is a difference between photo and Avatar. I uploaded the same photo as an avatar and now it is posted in this form. I hope this helps anyone else that was having the same problem of seeing their photo on forms. I hope I lost a little weight hassling over this for 2 days.
