Arrow *Serious face*

Right, it's time I kicked my arse back in action, before I get any bigger - it'll just be more to lose and harder (if it's not hard enough already). Definately starting again tomorrow and forgetting the past! Just had a weight watchers 'tuscany minestrone' or something - surprisingly nice, I like things like soups cuz I find they filling and good in the cold weather as it's hard to keep eating salads I find. So yeah any cheering on would do me good as from reading this you'll find I lack self-belief and motivation - BUT I CAN DO THIS, THIS TIME - I sure hope I can anyway Hopefully write in again tomorow saying how great the day went.

Anyone got any nice home-made soup recipes they'd like to share? I'd be so greatful Good luck everyone, we can so do this!

Talking Day 1 (take 2)

Breakfast: Porridge (didn't finish it all).

Lunch: Tuna mayonaise and cucumber roll on wholemeal bread and a packet of a quavers crisps (surprisingly low in calories)

Dinner: Bolognaise meat sauce with bit of mashed potatoe and green beans.

Dessert: 2 Weight watchers yoghurts.

All in all I'm pretty chuffed with this, start as you mean to go on...

Woooooo, I feel I can do this now

I have one for an insanely healthy and delicious Carrot and Coriander Soup.
I'll post it on here later on.

In the meantime, good luck.

Smile Day three (take 2)

Breakfast: Bowl of cornflakes with sweetner and skimmed milk.

Lunch: Tuna mayonaise on wholemeal bread sandwich and packet of quavers.

Dinner: Bit of left-over stew from last night (just like a soup really) and then a baked potatoe with a few baked beans and a bit of chicken.

Snacks: one chocolate praline.

And hopefully this will be all

I'm in the mood for a gym session but I've got lots of studying and work to do (ughh fun fun fun) so I'm not 100% sure I'll get the chance. But it's nearly the weekend and I plan to do a lot of riding and work out on the farm, and sticking to the healthy eating.

Still hoping to look fab next summer, that would just be the best.

Hey CookieMonster! Looks like you're starting to get the hang of this weight loss stuff. I think a big part of this process and finding a way to eat that works for you. I've tried sooo many different "ideas", I guess, as to how to eat (and I'm not talking about dieting) Not sure if that makes sense, but hopefully you understand :P

Question: Is "New Workout Plan" the actual name of Kayne West's song? If so it's perfectly fitting and I'll have to check it out! haha

Keep it up! Starting a journal is a huge and important step

Smile Day Four (take 2)

Breakfast: Bowl of cornflakes with skimmed milk and sweetner.

Lunch: Tuna on wholemeal bread sandwich (haha I'll look like a tuna fish at this rate ) and rice krispies square bar (151 cals) - yummm *drool*

Snack: 1 digestive biscuit

Dinner: Chilli con carne

Dessert:
1 strawberry Weight Watchers youghurt (81 cals)

So yeah I did manage to hit the exercise bike last night and did 35 mins (approximately 225 cals - according to monitor). And hope to do another session tonight!

Today was pretty good, I've done a heck load of walking (like I normally do), the food I personally find could of been better but I'm actually quite looking forward to weighing myself on monday! Which is really weird for me.

Just the weekend to get through now!

I love this soup however haven't made it in a while but it's really good if you get a cold or are just sick of the cold weather.
6 servings, about 1 1/2 cups each
Active Time: 20 minutes
Total Time: 50 minutes
Ingredients
• 10 cups reduced-sodium chicken broth
• 3 medium carrots, diced
• 1 large stalk celery, diced
• 3 tablespoons minced fresh ginger
• 6 cloves garlic, minced
• 4 ounces whole-wheat egg noodles, (3 cups)
• 4 cups shredded cooked skinless chicken breast, (about 1 pound; see Tip)
• 3 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
• 1 tablespoon lemon juice, or to taste
Preparation
1. Bring broth to a boil in a Dutch oven. Add carrots, celery, ginger and garlic; cook, uncovered, over medium heat until vegetables are just tender, about 20 minutes.
2. Add noodles and chicken; simmer until the noodles are just tender, 8 to 10 minutes. Stir in dill and lemon juice.
Tips & Notes
• Make Ahead Tip: Cover and refrigerate for up to 2 days.
• Tip: Place boneless, skinless chicken breasts in a medium skillet or saucepan and add lightly salted water to cover; bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat to low and simmer gently until chicken is cooked through and no longer pink in the middle, 10 to 12 minutes.
Nutrition
Per serving: 267 calories; 4 g fat (2 g sat, 1 g mono); 90 mg cholesterol; 18 g carbohydrates; 38 g protein; 2 g fiber; 329 mg sodium; 330 mg potassium.
