Rep Power: 4 | | My Motivation Diary :) x First of all, in case anyone reads this, hey! I'm new to this site and still trying to get the hang of things and thought this would be a good idea to help me along the way, so here goes. Today was the OFFICIAL start of operation - lose weight, no more 'I'll start tomorrow' or 'giving up after a few days' this time I WILL achieve my goal! Haha, yeah I'm trying out the whole 'positive thinking'. Right, I'm starting to rant on already ...
I'm currently 137pounds (although it ranges from 136-140 ) and I'm pretty short. I love exercising and being on the move but I screw it up when it comes to portions and sweet things, I'm always the girl going 'I'll finish that, can't let it waste'. My goal is 105 but it may not be quite that low as I have no idea how that kinda weight will suit my frame, so I'm not dead set on that but to start with 123pounds would be great. My main aim being to look fab for next Summer!
Today I think I've started off well and I have had:
Breakfast:
2 pieces of toast with honey.
Snack:
Apple
Lunch:
Salad
Dinner:
Chill con carne
plus water and 1 can of diet coke.
I'm going to do half an hour on the exercise bike which approximatly burns 200 calories in a bit. I'd be greatful for any replies from anyone to say hi and/or for inspiration and motivation. I've looked a bit through the site and you all seem so amazing! Well bye for now, Liz x |

Rep Power: 4 | | Day two :L Well today was an ok-ish day. On the plus side I did a lot of exercise and stuff but the downside was the food - nothing majorly wrong but still annoying It started off with this morning, I told myself not to but I weighed myself baaadd idea, ok I was only 2ounces up (I feel stupid about it now) but it did upset me a bit ..starting to sound pathetic now This made me go and have 2 chocolate mouse things for breakfast (248cals), I mean wtf?! in the morning but ahh well. I got back on track for lunch though and made myself a salad which was yumm and for dinner I had chips (eeek) and a sausage bab(?) not to good.. but I didn't finish it all. So yeah a mixed day really but seeing it's only my second a bit of a bummer. But I'm going to crack on with things and tomorrows another day, right? |

Rep Power: 4 | | Annoyed with myself Didn't post yesterday but it was an alright day (food and exercise way anyway). Today when I weighed (I've decided to carry on weighing daily...I can't help it)
I was back to my starting weight of 137 which was the good part... haha yeah it went downhill and a load of pasta for lunch...not to good, I feel like such a pig right now but I was on a low (bad excuse). I'm really not good at sticking with weight loss.. I need some serious motavation, it just comes and goes. If anyone reads this and wants to reply and help me I'd be seriously greatful Weight loss aside I've decided on watching a comedy or chick-flick movie later to banish the blues |

The annoying thing.. (I use annoying wayyyy too mucho) is that I always feel this way once I'm absolutely stuffed. Anyone else feel like this? Starting tomorrow I'm going to start eating grapefruit apparently it's great for helping weight loss and hey it can't do any harm. Going to post some inspiration pics later, well I might. |

I weighed 137 this morning - haven't lost anything but still happy with that as I haven't gained from having a right pig out yesterday I feel really motivated to do this thang now So far for breakfast I had some cornflakes and a little bit of grapefruit (omgg so bittterrr). I've been out this morning walking and emptying wheelbarrows in rain but now it's started to brighten up which is great cuz I plan on doing some more chores outside and possibly riding, I need to weigh in the 136's tomorrow, wish me luck! I'll write again later to say how the day's gone. |

I know it can be frustrating when nobody replies to your threads, but people still read them. I just see it like this: I write it down for myself and if someone comes by that is an added bonus but not the point of the diary.
So you seem like a chaos eater. I am too, I forget to shop, I eat random things, but I have now started to make a food plan at the beginning of the week and stick more or less to the food I plan, this way shopping is easier, and I don't end up waking up and haing to eat 2 mars bars because I did not plan ahead. Same for snacks, I have a 2 kg bag of tangerines in the kitchen and always have 2 or 3 in my bag so when the sudden hunger comes when I am not at home I can just pop one of them and am not forced to go and buy either crisps or a chocolate bar.
Our goals and current weights are similar, I want to get to 120 and then hopefully down to 115, I have a small frame on my 5'4 body and I just look chubby with any more weight than that. Well so I think because really I have been over 125 since I was 14... but I did always look a bit chubby!
Have a wonderful weekend, Camy |

Rep Power: 4 | | Hey Camy, thanks for dropping by, I agree that it's an added bonus getting someone coming by, I just like the fact of typing away in this diary blog thing and do think it is helping in a way.
Yes same with me I am definatly a chaos eater - mainly on the snacking side of things, I find with working outside a lot of the time I suddenly lack energy and need something to carry on and normally its the first thing in cuboard - not always the best of ideas. I've started cutting up veggies and stuff for snacks in case they're needed and I like your tangerine idea, they'll definatly be on my next shopping list again!
Good luck on achieving your goals, which you'll achieve (I'm not to sure about me somedays )
Have a wonderful weekend (or whats left of it) too |

Rep Power: 4 | | I've been thinking about why I currently have troubles with my weight, I never used to, it's only a recent sort of thing to me. And the thing that I think affects me most on not being able to maintain weight loss or a weight that I feel comfortable with is the fact it's pretty much going round my head 24/7. When I was thin I never weighed myself, I have no memory of weighing myself when I was lighter than 125 pounds and ate healthy mainly due to the fact i wasn't on a 'diet'. Now, I weigh myself daily or if I can manage weekly, if it's higher it'll end up depressing me and I'll go 'stuff it' and go have something bad, or the fact I'm on a 'diet' will go make me crave something. This never used to happen and I think it is basically due to my brain and attitude.
So, what am I going to do about it? I'm not a junk food addict or anything. I'm going to forget, yes forget about what I'm going to eat for the next meal etc, and be more like my old attitude was. And stop weighing myself so regularly. I feel this way, I can lose weight and keep happy at the same time, and just enjoy life plus enjoy the odd treat like I used to do, and I'm pretty confident this will work. | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
