Thank you. Thank you. I'm glad to be back! The first thing I'd like to do is fill you all in on what's going on. I've been gone for the last couple weeks but I'm back to do this thing! I have 31 more pounds to lose and I'm going to do it! ... Hopefully before September 6, but it's looking iffy right now. I can do it with losing just over 10 pounds a month BUT that is a high goal to set when you're down to 150 and stuff, ya know, losing weight slower and whatnot. So, if I can lose even just 20 pounds by then I'll be satisfied. That's about 14 weeks away, meaning I need to lose about 1.5 pounds a week. I can and I WILL do this!
I've set some rules to make sure I continue to visit this wonderful site.
1.) I will come here at least twice a day. My time options are a) before school, b) after school, and c) after dinner.
2.) I will stop by AT LEAST three people's diaries to see how they're doing.
3.) I need to stay active in the challenges.
That's all I can think of for now. Time to have some breakfast!

Anyways, good luck on your weightloss! I didn't check your old journal very much, and for that I'm sorry... so can you fill me in on your "battle plan" so to speak?
Oh yeah, I totally forgot about posting stats and the like.. okay, so here's some things.
I started my weight loss journey on February 11, 2006. I weighed in at a depressing 223 pounds one sporatic Saturday evening and have been working on this weight loss since. To date, I've lost 48 pounds in under four months. Basically, with the summer coming up, I want to take this time to lose as much as I can so when I return to school, all the kids are shocked.
"Wow! Eric... is that you?" they'll say.
I'll smile arrogantly. "Yep." and brush my shoulder off.
But on a more serious note, during the summer, I'd like to drop at least 30 pounds. But I know that's a lot to ask for and especially over the summer with no school to occupy my time, so even 20 pounds would work for me. It's not my goal necessarily, but achieving that would be nice as well. It's better than nothing.
Originally, my goal was to get down to 165 pounds. Honestly, I didn't think I'd make it as I always give up on this whole "weight loss" game. But, I've made it down to 175 pounds (ohemfreakinggee) and I'm so close to 165! But, that is no longer my goal. Seeing myself like this at 175, I see I need to be a lot less than 165. So, my new goal for now is 144 pounds. But, because I have a feeling that won't be what I'm looking for either, I may drop the goal down to 120, but not for a few months.
Also, one of my rules was that I'd stop in here at least twice a day. The Memorial Day weekend had my totally booked so that's why I couldn't show up here. Today is looking a little crowded as well so we'll see...

I just thought I'd stop by here really quick and update with my breakfast. I had a smoothie which had strawberries, bananas and strawberry ice cream, and milk. Kind of bad I know but I couldn't help myself. I also had three hard boiled eggs.
I've had 16 oz. of water so, going to start my on next 16 oz. after I finish writing this.
Edit: Turns out the smoothie was actually with yogurt and NOT ice cream. So that makes it even better!
I have some good news and some bad news. Good news: I made it to 64 oz. of water! Bad news: I had two pieces of pie and a lot of that smoothie! Ugh.. well, hey. This is a minor set back and once tomorrow starts everything is going to be different! That's all for now. I'm tired.
Welcome back Eric! It's one thing to quit, but it takes a LOT of determination and willpower to get back on track. Congrats! We missed ya! Remember, drink your water
Thanks for reading and posting in my journal. I'm going to use some of your ideas to stay in the forum like reading other peoples diaries and post in a couple of them per day. That increases our motivation.
I laugh a lot with your posts!!! You already lost 48 pounds!!! That is a huge amount of weight off. Congratulations. If you need 32 pounds more that is less than all you had lost so far. Cool!!!
Well, I'm trying to find some motivation to loose weight. I don't know why I was so motivated when I started in December and know I am pretty lazy.
Reading others people journal makes a difference. It helps me because I am so desperate to loose weight that sometimes I feel frustrated. Well keep reading my diary, I will read yours.
