Rep Power: 41 | | so far its been pretty easy. mostly just changed the way I eat and very few sugars. If I can just get past those late night munchies it'll be great. I stopped lifting weights for the most part. Now I just work out with the bar and it seems more aerobic.Instead of building any kind of muscle think id rather strip everything down then i can always bulk back up later once i get in better shape. Ill find out on my next weigh in. I lost a huge chunk now I'm expecting it to slow down but as long as the numbers go down i can live with it. |

Rep Power: 41 | | Well another day has gone, well more or less. I just finished my last meal or dinner at a little past midnight. Ill still be up until probably about 2 am or so. I have been working with my weights all day more or less and my arms are telling me i over did it lol.... I was thinking with almost no weights just the bar I could go all day but slowly well I'm sore. I'm just going at it more like a light cardio workout and well it makes me earn my meal so to speak. Is watching what I eat and working out and a normal 6-8 hours of sleep working? well I wont know till Saturday morning. Man I am so tempted to get on that scale but Id see the wrong number then Id throw it through the window and it probably just best to wait till Saturday morning... |

Rep Power: 66 | | I can so relate to the wacky sleep patterns (if i can even call it a pattern) and I find myself doing all-nighters a lot.
Make no mistake this the THEE most challenging time period of my diet life. like tonight, I walked till about 9pm and laid down on the couch and woke at 2am so now I'm wired not to mention hungry, about an hour ago I ate about 10 olives and a raw carrot but.... well you know how the story goes. *sigh*
My best hope is I'll lay down here in a bit and doze back off (not likely) because I have a 10:30am appt. at the SS office for my answer and question session on going back to work (eventually). I feel like taking on a part time job about right now but I'm not sure I wanna pull the parachute open yet. Small dollars suck but sitting at home and counting on the Govt for your sole support sucks even worse.
Going back to work has always been one of my primary inspirations for my diet.
Keep on winning Hillbilly, you're doin' it bro !! |

Rep Power: 41 | | | well i have been sitting at home for almost 2 years from what was supposed to be a simple back operation. the social security thing is a slow process. I went back to school and let me tell you that sent the SSI office into a fit. It seems they would rather you sit at home and watch the walls grow rather that you try and find something to pass the time. I guess thats why I'm going to school for computers and electronics, it passes the time plus its way easier on my back than bouncing around in the cab of that truck was....... |

Rep Power: 41 | | Malficent- nope I'm staying off of it. I don't think I can deal with the ups and downs lol.
Hypo- Na I never did get that coffee, I need to keep the stuff here for an iced sugar free vanilla but I never do.
Jelly- Yea If you can stay off the scale for a month I can stay off for a week. Its odd you know that voice from Austin powers. Its the voice of fat bastard "Get in my belly." Now its " Get on that scale." It's weird thats the last voice you want to hear before drifting off to sleep lol...... |

Rep Power: 41 | | Well today wasn't bad. every thing went pretty well. I picked up a bag of mixed berries and made a smoothie. It needed a banana to sweeten it up but was fine. Dinner was a lot of calories but I hadn't had many before that. That damn Texas gene wants steak or ground beef once in awhile and its hard to fight it. Ah well I come from a long line of carnivores and its hard just to turn it off sometimes lol...... |

Rep Power: 16 | | you might have answered this before and I just missed it, but does your doctor think you should not have lean beef? It seems like an occasional lean steak would not be a bad menu choice at all. And they have ground beef now that is like 97% lean. Not a speck of grease to even drain off after it is browned. I am not trying to tempt you with something you really should not have, I was just wondering if these are forbidden entirely. |

Rep Power: 41 | | mom she dosent seem to concerned with my fat intake since i never have been a huge fan of fatty foods. My last cholestoral test for the total was just a little over 180. The only concern about eating fatty meats is that it seems to have more calories than the leaner cuts. Ill see her again in a few weeks for another checkup. | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
