You know I've heard that craving sweets and salts go hand in hand. I think it's interesting that you have noticed the change. I guess keeping away from both kinda keeps each in check. I bet staying away from the crap really does let you eat more. I really should try keeping away from sugary things. |

Rep Power: 41 | | swirly..... silly old spell check got me again. suppose to be squirrelly lol. I get free programs from the school and though Linux is mostly free this is red hat 9.0. a little older but a good stable system. It just doesn't support my sata hard drives. someone is supposed to be getting me the fedora but they haven't come through just yet. so now I'm this close to ripping apart the progie and finding the kernel and getting him a replacement lol..... now I'm going through the lime-wire and such sites looking for an OS mostly already pieced together. I think your the first person that knows anything about Linux. most everyone I know likes Microsoft::::::shivers::::::::. After this year in electronics I'm getting a second associates in It. Most of it is Microsoft junk with some UNIX and Linux just because you still see it alot in servers. And I don't have to pm unless you just want because this is my diary and I can babble about what i want its in the small print lol...... But really thanks for any help you can give. |

Rep Power: 79 | | lol yeah i hear ya,
If you're new i would reccomend kubuntu or ubuntu (ubuntu is gnome based - kubuntu is kde based and probably a bit easier for windows converts).
Its pretty good at picking up odd hardware and being nice and easy to install, oh yeah and they send out free cds from here |

I picked up abunch of computer systems from the school and they are old Compaq's:::::::shiver::::::::: They are slow as far as windows with the memory and such but runs the red hat fine. It just doest like my new machine with the sata hard drives. |
