Rep Power: 79 | | hahaha i can totally relate to the friends and the diet part.
Funnily enough its amazing sometimes that people KNOW you're on a diet and can see the results but still say or do stuff to sabotage it like 'hey lets go down to Burger King' or whenever you eat with them they go 'hey why arnt you eating xxxx.' or 'is there something wrong with you? why arnt you eatin?' etc lol |

Rep Power: 41 | | Thanks all. Yea friends are tough when your on a diet. no one seems to want salad when Chinese is cheaper. well honestly i think they just like it better. I don't expect them to change what they like just because i don't really need it.
After dinner we normally go out to a local coffee house. Its like starbucks but only a micro version lol. So instead of the loaded frap with the syrup and whip dripping from the top I get a double espresso and they give me looks on that. Instead of the relaxed atmosphere we use to have its now tense, to me anyhow. well on a better note I went to the seafood store and they had a huge piece of salmon so I bought me a quarter fillet. I have been craving gravlox. If you don't know much about it, I think its a Scandinavian dish. The fish is normally packed with a mixture of salt and sugar and dill and wrapped in plastic and weighted and put in the fridge for up to about 72 hours. Its not cooked but with the curing it doesn't seem raw either. Now just about everyone up north knows what it is but down south its not quite that common. Anyway its good on salads and cream cheese bagels and just about anything. What can I say I had a craving lol. I'm not sure about the calories since the salt and sugar mix is washed off but I'm sure the meat absorbs some in the curing process. Anyhow is should be done tomorrow. Anyhow this is what I'm having today as far as food goes............. Breakfast: 2 eggs, 2 slices of wheat {70+70+80+80}
(300 calories)
Lunch: stuffed bell pepper; turkey, onion, 2 Roma tomatoes, 1 red bell pepper {240+12+11+11+50}
(324 calories)
Dinner: Whole acorn squash stuffed with ground turkey, onions. {172+240+12}
(424 calories)
Snack: granola bar
(110 calories)
Snack: 2 nectarines, 2 tangerines. {60+60+45+45}
(210 calories)
Drinks: water, tea
(0 calories)
Total: 1368 calories

Rep Power: 41 | | think i need to get some girl- friends the guys ehhhhh..... that sounds about right on the calories on the gravlox. Salmon is pretty low in calories and the curring process I don't think adds much to it. Its easy enough to go buy it but I was in a creative mood. The good thing is I'm the only one that will eat it so I don't need to worry about snackers lol...... |

Rep Power: 41 | | well today went pretty well on the food plan. although I didn't add the turkey and such to the acorn squash so I have about 250 calories i need to make up. I'm still way below my 2000 calories so basically I can have "most" anything as an extra meal. I know ill be up till at least 3 am so ill use it for another small meal. It would be a perfect time for the mango papaya smoothie but they aren't ripe yet.... |

Rep Power: 83 | | Oh Lee - I hear ya with the friends bit...ya just gotta love sitting next to someone who clearly has some weight to lose who says to you "Oh, I so admire how far you've come and how you can stick to your diet! I've been trying too, but, well, you know, it just isn't that easy". As they dip into an order of chili cheese fries.
Hope your weekend went well and here's to a brand new week! |

Rep Power: 23 | | Hey Lee! Sorry your friends aren't being really supportive. My friends are the same way so girl- friends aren't really that much better! I think it's because they are all skinny and can't possibly understand what I've gone through. I mean they are all size 7's and are asking me why THEY are fat!!
So, don't worry! You are doing great!! |  | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
