I had grudgingly decided I wouldn't get a walk in tonight, but then the storm moved on and I got out there. I only got a mile and a half in because of limited time, but I am proud of myself. I don't give up on myself as quickly as I used to.

This is great...I do that I love it when the rain lifts and I can get a walk in even if it is breif or brisk
I haven't been around much this weekend. I drank really good and really expensive beer yesterday. Wow it was delicious and not something I've had much of. Will be working hard today to burn it off--I didn't have too much of it at least.

You go cannon - it sounds yummmy...so beer can be good - it is better as it gets more expensive ??? LOL
I got some Westvalle which is a really nice Belgian Trappist Ale
Swordfish Head Indian Pale Ale
Anchorsteam Summer Beer
and I had 2 IPAs and a good ammount of the Westvalle.
We never openned a bottle I have of Liefmand's Goudenband. Its also a Belgian bee made by a female brewer with 7 employees. The ingredients are extremely simple, but the quality is supposedly amazing. I saved it and I'm looking forward to trying it soon.
oooo you sound like a ratebeer.com kinda guy. Debi turned me on to that site - really cool place
I loved your post about getting out there and walking when time/weather was an issue. Seems these are the differences some make that bring astounding success in their prospective journeys.
I have always liked searching out quality. I do this because I want to see for myself if it really is all that good. Sometimes, I find things that are supposed to be great are really overrated and other times I jump on the bandwagon. I love finding little restaurants or unknown music for this reason and I think searching out good beer is an extension of the same kind of thing. I also don't think I drink enough to really hurt my weight loss too much.
Hi Cannon; I love unknown music also, or at least discovering obscure artists. Gortoz a ran by Denez Prigent and Lisa Gerrard is an absolute must. My sons discovered it from the Black Hawk Down sountrack. Other cool finds for me lately was The Gotan Project and Buddha-Bar.
