I am feeling better today. My head is unbowlingballed and my flu aches have been replaced by muscle aches from yesterday's workout. I still feel like I have a lot of congestion right behind my nose and there is some blood there. I have an apointment tomorrow after school, but I am feeling much better
Ugh! It sounds like you were feeling ill for your holiday!! Exceptionally bad timing - one way and another!! I'm glad you're a little better and also glad you're seeing the doctor. I hope this goes away fast.
Hi Cannon
Thanks for stopping by my diary! Regarding Weight Watchers, I just want to clarify that there is NO food that you actually need to purchase (i.e. no pre-packaged meals). I eat pretty much what I used to eat, only smaller portions, less junk food, and try to get in more protein.
I really can heartily recommend it as a very easy to follow and convenient programme. I choose to attend meetings, but lots of folks simply join and lose online.
Cannon- I'm happy to read that your flu aches have given way to something else. I had the flu this year and it was a major b*tch. I hope your doctor's appt. goes well and that you start feeling 100% very very soon
My current weight isn't bad. I'm up about 13 pounds from where I was. I'll take that. It means that all this time of not weighing I've been making progress. Now that I'm working out I'll have more progress. I was still a bit sore today so I will be working out tomorrow. I soaked my muscles this morning instead and I am feeling better except in my thighs. Tomorrow will be an aerobic day so it won't be a huge issue. Great to see some familiar and new faces around here. I can't tell you how much this reduced stress situation at school is helping me do what I need to do. I wake up without dread and that makes it a lot easier to work out.
Ok I'm starting to get in the habit. I think it takes me about 2 weeks to start a habit, but I'm feeling good to be doing this again. I need to plan for this weekend. I'll be trapped in my apartment for the entire day of Sunday when the South Side Irish parde (second biggest St. Patrick's Day parade in the world) passes down my street.
Food has been a bit high -- About 2200 calories the last 2 days, but I can bring that down. Today is a bit tougher because I go out to a bar/restaurant with my friends. No drinks for me and hopefully a sensible food choice. I think I can make my ticker weight in a month and then keep that momentum going.
So gym 4 times this week. I'm planning to go tomorrow since I'll be trapped inside on Sunday. I think I want to incorporate some walking like I did last year when the weather gets slightly better. Nothing wrong with some extra exercise just because its fun (and I know I could go now, but it wouldn't be as fun as it will be in a week or two).
it's a gorgeous day out there right now and it's supposed to snow this weekend - never put off til two weeks from now what you can do right now - get your arse out and walk..
Right now I'd love to, but in 2 minutes this class will be full of 7th graders . I put that disclaimer in for you and Wishes depending on who read it first. When it gets to be a bit more Springy I'm going to walk a bit more something I stopped doing when I started hitting the gym.
