It's great to hear you're making progress towards better habits. Hey if you do it long enough and keep posting it here you might eventually poke me enough for me to finally make that valuable move to morning exercise. (Jkg, it would take a pointy stick and red hot at that ...) Good for you though, it's a big step and I bet it's making you feel better already - started it's own little positive feedback loop.
Positive feedback loop--good way to put it. Gym is morning, but walking a lot of time is right after school. Saturdays are more of a hike in the morning.
By all means google 'sopcast safe site' if you feel at all uneasy about it. Many warebuster sites have given sopcast a clean bill of health. It is a Mcafee Green Site, too. Always download off places you trust like CNET or Download.com.
The stream machine is very simple to use (assuming you have broadband). Once you dl the player, sign in under anon. no password needed, no emails needed.
Click on the 'Live Stream' tab, scroll down to the bottom of the list and that's usually where the cricket matches are hosted. It's simple place to navigate and should only take a very short time for you to figure out they do's and dont's.
Day 4 of a England/NZ test match gets under way today at 4:30pm EST and there will be a few channels carrying it.
This weekend was rough. Friday, I found out that one of my best friends at my old school got fired by the pinhead principal. The principal was jealous of my friend who was a leader in the school and instead of using her abilities was threatened by them. I was smart getting out before that principal came in. My friend is an amazing teacher, but now will have a major black mark against her. A bunch of us when to cheer her up at another friend's bar and as a result I ate and drank way too much. Saturday was scarcely better though I don't know why. Sunday was a return to sanity, but then I got so annoyed by all the drunks around me that I went to my friend's bar to avoid them. It actually was so bad that going to the bar was an improvement. Now, I have to make up for it. I'm off to the gym after I get done staying after to give a Constitution Test retest.
Hey Mal--Nice timing. I've never seen it so bad. The women did nothing for me--some cute faces, some nice bodies, but girls were way past the fun drunk and into the about to puke on themselves stage. They were trying to kick in my neighbor across the hall's door because he was having a party and passed out locking a bunch of people outside. There were about 5 cases worth of beer cans in the hall this morning.
Cannon- As long as you always attempt to get back on the horse you can't beat yourself up for one weekend. I mean, this is life and sometimes you're going to want to go out with friends and eat all the yummy (yet bad for you foods) and enjoy yourself. You can't be perfect everyday (see Mal for tips, though), and better to make healthy choices three days a week than none. It's all going to come out in the wash if you don't give up on where you're going. I hope your class is a little less rowdy this week... man, you have your hands full!
Thanks BG Every now and then real life gets in the way, but we do our best. My friend just found out she should definitely have tenure and couldn't have been fired. So there is some good news in the end. She needs to leave that school, but at least she can do it without the stigma that getting fired brings.
That's great news about your friend Cannon. Teaching can be weird in the way it pushes teachers around at times and it's really good to hear about some protection that's worked the way it should.
St Patrick's Day is the 17th March here. Was the parade in advance of the day? or is this another case of weird variations between countries?
I live in a neighborhood famous for its drunken Irish. They hold the parade the Sunday before St. Patrick's Day to not conflict with the smaller city parade on St. Pats. Sorry I haven't been posting much--I've had a sinus problem that's made it hard to work out. I have gotten a few days in and on Tuesday I saw the male trainer that I thought was such a dweeb. In real life he's much more impressive and he may be an option for me too. Its wonderful to have all these old diary pages to refer back to. I decided to flip back to see when I began walking last year and I learned something. I've become much more obsessed with losing weight lately. Last year it was all about the process and letting the weight take care of itself. Now I'm all about the weight and forgetting the process. That has to change. Every moment needs to be spent working on the journey and not worrying about the time I'm making.
