Rep Power: 38 | | Well I am definitely on the right side of 40 and feeling really good about it. I have two other big goals right around the corner with 10% of my original weight and 50 pounds lost. Saturdays are tough. I did my grocery shopping this morning and I made a homemade cheeseburger for lunch. I put it on a wheat bun, but I got some real tastey smoked jack cheese instead of diet cheese. I bought ground round and made a .2 pound burger. Now that I do the calorie math though I'm guessing it was only about 450 calories tops. Mmm, tastey too. I have been trying to do fruits and veggies today as well for the challenge. I know I'll be doing pizza tonight I just wish I knew how many squares were in a slice. |

Rep Power: 51 | | Love pizza! We made some the other night using pitas for the crust, and I used grilled chicken breast instead of the usual pizza meat. Pretty tasty!
Congratulations on passing 40! That's so awesome! 10% is so close |

About the treadmill dread, I use music to make time pass. If I remember correctly you are a musiclover too, so maybe that will help. I just loose track of time once I have my music...
I can also see a lot has happend since I last stopped by: a lot of congrats from here for you doing so well. (Especially eating more fruit and veggies, though it seem small its been a long way coming)
Hope you have a great day tomorrow. |

Rep Power: 38 | | Wow! Thanks for all the support. I liked the cheeseburger so much I made another one today and I made Lamb Chops for dinner. I added some veggies to both meals and few pita garlic chips and a 100 calories snack bag and a scoop of Mint Chocolate Cookie Ice Cream. I'll come in today around 1200 calories, but it was a pretty enjoyable eating day. I am going to go visit some diaries now. What I don't get to today, I'll get to tomorrow. |

You are making me hungry here, talking about food... Especially that Ice cream of yours, sounds tasty- not sure I would be able to stop at one scoop Anyway everything looks to be in order with you, so just keep it up and have a nice day. |

Rep Power: 0 | | I've found that when I cook at home, I can make it as healthy or as naughty as I want.
Have you tried playing with seasoning? I put together a burger the other day with a can of green chilis, a thing of taco seasoning, some onions and mixed all that with a lb. of very lean ground beef. Then I added a bit of shredded cheese and some low fat sour cream to the bun, Taco burger! You could pat them out into individual patties, slip some wax paper between them and then freeze them for later! Really good with chili seasoning too...
Ok, I've just gone off on a burger tangent, lol
Keep up the great work!! |
