I think mini-goals are important. Its going to go down to the wire for me, but it gives me something to shoot for in a way that trying to think 200 pounds and 2 years in the future doesn't.

I love doing mini goals just because thinking of the total lbs is just so intimidating. Under 300 by November doesn't feel as overwhekming. Hang in there - you're doing GREAT!

I'm salted up again. This time I did it to myself. I figure I can lose the water weight by Friday if I make sure to get all the water in and eat only healthy foods for the next couple days. Its amazing when you can visually see the effect of too much salt, especially beyond calories.

UGH, don't you just HATE that darn sodium. It should be banned as an illegal product. You'll get it off by Friday, take a water pill if all else fails. lol

Ooh, mini goals are awesome. In my case anyway. If I said that I'd lose 60 pounds by next december I'd probably forget about it or lost moivation along the way. You don't always have to meet your mini goals, but it does keep you on your toes

I actually kind of like being semi bloated. It helps me to sweat more at the gym, and look studly. Yeah, other than that, it blows. I have been drinking V-8 with 1000 mg per 8 ounces...so needless to day, this will be a rough weigh in.

Blech, I hoped to get a chance to visit diaries today, but it's 9:22 here and I have one more paper to do. I reached an important milestone today without reallizing it--2 different people at work noticed how much weight I've lost (yay me!). Its been a good day for calories, but too many have been empty--that's what I get for eating on the run. I am really working on getting a lot of water to flush all that nasty salt out. I promise to go diary visiting ASAP. You guys are the best and you've been with me all the way. Its making a huge difference for me. The support I get from this website makes things a lot easier and I can't wait til I can return some soon.

Will it help to prepare meals the night before?

Oh manz... i hate sodium too. i think it caused me constipation the last few weeks. I managed to flush out with water the last 2 days. Hope u feel better soon!

Btw, do u think salt substitute works?

I heard salt substitute can be dangerous. Read up on it Pinks...

What's funny is I don't add salt to anything. The salt has come from eating things with a high salt content to begin with. Oh well, I'm flushed out and ready for another long Thursday . Hope all are well.

Salt subs is definitely bad. It basically has the same effect as renal failure in the blood.

Salt you can literally "piss out". Healthy kidneys and water make it not such a big deal.
