Rep Power: 38 | | Well I liked that tuna bagel melt so much yesterday that I made another one today. I'm really busy getting ready for my trip so if I neglect some of your journals I apologize and will read them more diligently when I get back. I am sure that I have taken off about 10-12 pounds this week. I just hope not to blow it on my trip so that when I do finally weigh myself I will get to see my accomplishment |

Rep Power: 41 | | | I think its kinda hard not being able to weigh yourself. Till you get the scale you hope your doing ok. By the way that your eating you will see positive results so dont worry there. It will just be nice to watch the numbers roll down. |

I just read your journal, and I wanted to say that I think you're doing GREAT!!
The toasted morning bagel sounds like something I want to make
You're going to do fine on your trip - you have your goals in front of you and all your hard work this week behind you to remind you that a a few minutes of pleasure isn't worth it.
Take away memories - not pounds
You CAN do this!! |

Rep Power: 11 | | | You are doing soooo well! Try not to speculate on how much you've lost just in case you weigh yourself on an inadvertent 'too much salt' day or something. As long as the number is decreasing, that's what's important. Slow and steady! You can do this!!! |

And I wouldn't feel guilty, how much of other people's time do you think he has wasted during his career!! And your line about please not calling because your wife doesn't like you talking to people ... hilarious.
My husband is a big fan of winding up cold callers. He will either say he has to change the baby, or he is just renting, but his favourite one is to say 'I'll just get him', and put the phone down on the table. He leaves them hanging on for ages. Terrible I know, but he's got a wicked streak!!
Anyway, back on topic , your doing great, keep up the good work!! |

Keep up the great work... |

Rep Power: 0 | | | Hi Cannon, just read your diary and your goals for loss and time frame is totally realistic and healthy. Good for you!!! We all know that you can do it and we will be here for you.
I guess you are leaving on vacation tomorrow so have a fabulous time. And you've already got your plans for hitting the farmer's market and ethnic restaurants so you will do just fine. Bon voyage!!!

Rep Power: 38 | | | Thanks to everybody for all the support. It means a lot. Let's see. In the last 2 days I've had decent luck with food although two days ago I ate an entire small chicken chowmein. I have struggled a bit with the exercise, but that's probably because I've been staying up too late with the trip preparation. I will write to everybody when I get back. Enjoy the week! |

Rep Power: 38 | | Well, I just got back from my trip and I have dropped 7 pounds in 2 weeks. I didn't always eat the best thing on my trip, but I was never out of control, I always considered nutrition as well as taste in the decision making process and I got a lot of walking in. I know I didn't eat as many times a day as I could, but I really didn't splurge too much. The only two real unhealthy things I ate were a one scoop sundae, and a some carmel popcorn. Both of those were still improvements over my usual choices and I didn't feel deprived. My walking program will commence on Wednesday. Tomorrow I will try and do well with the diet at a 4th of July party, but I'm definitely not intimidated by it. I think I'm treating myself tonight with Chicken Chow Mein again--the right portion this time. |

Rep Power: 38 | | | Well I went to a 4th of July BBQ and I did all the right things--I drank only water and I didn't go starving, but I did overindulge on sweets. They did a great job on deserts this year. All in all my calorie count for the day wasn't bad. I don't think I'll gain anything so I'll just look at it as a day that I'll have to work hard to pay for this week. I plan to get up early and start walking again. I need to get groceries tomorrow too. | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
