M2M, Congrats on the pants. I'm glad you enjoy walking in the morning. I heard taking a walk in the morning, helps you feel better all day long. It's so great that you feel confident about losing weight. I can't wait to hear what your scale says!
OMG! That is so funny! Have y'all seen that last one that is at band camp? It is hilarious! We had seen it right before my son comes in and says he wants to play the TUBA in the school band next year! ROFL! He finally decided he wanted to play the sax instead. Phew!

As for today, I haven't eaten enough calories yet, it's 8:33 pm and I've had 673 calories - I really don't want to eat this late, but I also don't want to leave it at half my calories for the day either...
I had
7:30 (after my walk) nutrition shake - 180 calories
10:30
Large Tomato - 38
2:30
Apple - 75
4:30
Large Pria Bar 170
6:30
3oz Jerky -210
(spread out throughout the day, even the apple was took over an hour to finish, snacking on it while on the phone)
With my 437.7 calories burned during my 4km walk this morning, I'm entirely too low for the day. Funny, I don't think I've ever had this problem in my LIFE!
So, I'll probably find something lite and have it then stay up longer
OH yes! I picked up some tennis shoes today and the timing couldn't be better, my shins hurt from this morning's walk, and I have not blisters, but kind of holes in my feet where the seams rubbed my feet. I really couldn't keep doing that!
Don't do what I did and walk 2 1/2 miles the first time out in your new sneakers. I'm not used to having to break in walking shoes, because I never did this much walking before! Go about a mile and quit the first couple of nights so you don't get more blisters!
Way hey 3lbs in a week is excellent, I wish I had the motivation to get out early and do stuff like walking. This morning I woke up and it was lovely outside and I did think I could go for an early morning bike ride. I wound up doing the house work instead, I had a few goldfish looking at me mournfully to get me to clean their tank.
I, too, like walking in the mornings I like to hear the birds singing on the way UP the hill and see the awesome view of our island on the way down - and no cars to interrupt the quiet Its kind of..... well, Cinderella like when I go in the mornings I go in the evening during the week b/c I can't go until I get out of work, but I much preferr the mornings
