Hi Cinderelly,
M's hair gets lighter red in the summer, from being at the beach every day - but no signs of it changing. Her eyebrows are red. Someone once told me that's the sign of a red head that will stay a red head Speaking of which, I've been letting the grey come in for over the last year, two days ago, Meg was commenting on how grey it really is...so I put some henna in my hair (I'm a blondish, brownish, red) oh dear. Now I'm really red, red like when I was a kid red - but I have brown eyebrows
As for the audition, I did post about it, but it got buried quickly, I wrote: Quote:
OK - we're back.
I don't think she got the part, but she was confident, self assured, and HAPPY to be there.
We won't know for sure until later tonight - call backs are tomorrow for cold readings, so we'd have to know by then, but the director came out, (I couldn't be in there with her), said that she did an amazing job for her 1st audition.
The "1st Audition" leads both Megan and I to think they are looking for someone with a bit more experience.
It doesn't matter, she faced her fear of doing it, didn't back out and is VERY proud of herself.
Yes, we went out for ice cream and split a mint choco shake (sue me)
So much for not celebrating with food - but you know...learning moderation (and it was her idea to split it) will serve her well in life
| Thanks for asking - it was a good experience for her |

as for dying your hair you can dye you eye brows to ya know...LOL - I always went red for the longest time - my father has balck hair and my mom is a fiery red hed - so I am lucky Ihave the complection to go light or dark - I finally just went dark agian abt 3 or 4 months ago...I love it and it was darker than my natural color so no more dying for me - funny cuz one of my friends is like oh you went dark and i said ya it is actually my natural color and she was a little shocked lol !!!
Oh and i went back like 3 pages...I guess it did bury fast or I just didnt notice it... |

I was just going through old pictures - and found one to compare to Meg's...
We're about the same age in each picture, I may be a little older. |

Rep Power: 83 | | The pictures are funny when side by side - that's for sure - granted, at her age, I outweighed her by at least 20-25 pounds

So do we get pics of your red hair now? | Putting the pictures up side by side is what amazed me too - I have no family, and all I have ever heard was how much she looks like Bob.
Phth!
As for my too orange hair - I might post a picture, but I'm really thinking of darkening it a bit - it's just wrong
So...I took Megan over to Ryan's for a playdate (her "boyfriend") (WHO by the way, as he was hanging up the phone with her today before the play date, said, "Bye Megan, see you in 20 minutes, I love you." Click)
Anyhoo...I spent the time shopping - not buying, just browsing...
I must have tried on a gazillion clothes. It's pretty clear, I need to start buying 10's - every one I tried on, fit - and in juniors I wear an 11. I tried on some 501 button up jeans, 32x32 they fit, but don't fit the way I remember them fitting, a bit too high in the waist. I also fit into Euro size 33's I don't know if I've ever even tried on Euro sizes before! I also tried on bathing suits. A size Large one piece that was two big and four tankinis - sizes 10 & 12 - I've decided I won't buy a two piece until I'm in single digits, but I have to say, this is the FIRST time in my life where I've tried on bathing suits and honestly felt like I didn't look like shit - I went, 'wow, it's not as bad as I thought it would be.'
The interesting thing about shopping is that I still gravitate to the "Woman's Section". Every pair of pants I first grabbed thinking "these will fit", were always WAY too big.
I think I have spent so many years of my life grabbing a 20 and up, and have had so little time grabbing these 10's, that it boggles my mind that they're actually going to fit on my ass!
OK - my prattling is over for the time being |

Rep Power: 38 | | | I don't mind the prattling at all. In fact shopping hardly interests me, but hearing your story of shopping reminds me of my goals down the road and reminds me they are reachable. | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
