Rep Power: 38 | | Weird conversation--I just had thin and crispy crust white pizza for dinner. Its from California Pizza Kitchen and it does have marginal veggie qualities from the spinach. 1/3 of the piza has 290 calories. It wasn't bad and sated my pizza fix. |

Although even our home made ones come in at 800 cals for half, yikes!
Maybe I should see if they sell some of these ones you guys are talking about in the UK |

It's got a lovely flavor and melts beautifully - ad is ice on a pizza but it's not mozzarella
But I am a mozzarella snob, if it's not fresh made - and by fresh made I mean it came out of the tub less than ahour ago - it's not mozzarella.. |

Rep Power: 217 | | I might be of Irish decent, but I lived in a very very Italian area of northern new jersey for a long while -you couldt swing a dead cat without hitting a really really good italian deli... and saturday morning the little old guido ladies would line up for the fresh mozarella -I would just follow them I was converted the crap sold in grocery stores is like rubber.. it's gotta be fresh.. |

Rep Power: 217 | | they might make a low fat version but it's not super high i calories so as the occasional treat who cares- i think it's just over 100 calories an ounce... it's a really nice mild cheese -and melts well... |

Rep Power: 43 | | Hey, don't know who started the pizza/Gouda post, but I'm ALL IN on this one. LOVE GOUDA!! Actually I buy it by the brick or round from Sam's club and usually end up eating it with a few light crackers and a glass of Merlot. It's such a fresh cheese, I've never had it on Pizza will have to try that one. M2M I need to stop reading your posts early in the morning, I leave starving!!! I need to find this post I read a week ago about home made pizza and put it on here, I remember it was low calorie, but still packed full of veggies and nutrients.

Rep Power: 83 | | Good Morning everyone
I'm not sure how MY diary became pizza central but it's ok - i'll live with it
Mal - you ARE a mozzerella snob!
I wish I had the experience you have! I don't know if I've ever had it quite so fresh.
I do buy it from the grocery store in the tub (when I buy it, but when I get it that way, it's only to put on tomatoes and under basil)
My big hearted kid shared her cold with me - I don't feel sick, I just have the taste of the yucks forming in the back of my throat - I hope it passes quickly. I haven't been sick in over a year! |
