Rep Power: 16 | | | hey Okay, here's my report. Down 2 for the week. I'm sick with a stomach thing today, though, so we'll just have to see if those 2 pounds stay gone. Good luck with your weigh-in tomorrow. |

Rep Power: 0 | | | Wow, you did great at the Wine Party. That's inspirational for me because I have to go to a wedding tomorrow. Why is that fun events revolve around food? It makes me feel sometimes like I don't want to leave the house until I've finished losing. Yikes!!!!
Hope you have a great weekend! |

I've been gone from yesterday morning until tonight and I wasn't able to count calories very well while I was out so I have no idea. I do know I ate alright, but I would imagine the calories were in the 1500 range. It's my TOM, and I feel bloated, and generally gain weight, so I'm not too excited about stepping on that scale tomorrow.
It's unbearably hot here, so I have been drinking water.
I'm off to go read diaries now and catch up - hope you guys are all doing well |

one way to keep cool is to hop into the shower and quickly out. It'll refresh you and you'll cool down immediately. |

Rep Power: 83 | | Well...Twinmom, you are officially in the lead
I won't be moving my ticker today. Still at 230. I was really hoping to break out of the 230's this week. I'll just have to wait until next week to do it. Earlier in the week I was at 229, so I figured I had a good chance of staying there despite my TOM, but that didn't happen.
OK, back to logging calories (I've slacked the last two days) - I have some catching up to do!!
Hope you all have a good weekend. |

Rep Power: 16 | | | Awww Awww, I am sorry. I know that is frustrating, but you will probably drop three pounds mid-week when you lose the period bloat! Stay strong. We have 7 1/2 weeks until August 23! (That was our date, wasn't it?) |

Rep Power: 0 | | Hey M2M, how about passing some of that discipline and commitment in this direction I could really use some to help me stay on track!!
I am so sure that when you weigh next week you will have a tremendous drop, like has been discussed your TOTM can put 5lbs of water weight on you. I bet it will be one of those times when you are actually shocked by what you see. I am super confident of this, you have been soooooo good |

Pineola, you're right, staying the same beats going up - but when you're thinking you'll drop 2 and end up losing none, well, it's definitely annoying!
Today wasn't that great either. My daughter had a swim meet, and we hosted, so I ended up working in the snack bar. I was there at 7:00 am, and left at 4:00, it was so hot and I didn't "bring" food
I know I snagged about 4-5 link sausages, about a 1/4 cup to 1/2 of hash browns, then I snacked on white meat chicken with terryaki sauce - maybe 1/2 cup to a cup total. I also had two gatorades, at least 2 DIET sodas and two waters. Not exactly my healthiest of days. I quit eating around 3:00, and hopefully, the amount of work I did will go towards getting rid of those sausages!
Tomorrow I'll be spending 7 hours at a water park for my daughter's friend's birthday. You're not "allowed" to bring food in - so I'm not sure what I'll do.
My plan for now is to have a full/good size breakfast and put a power bar in my bag and stick to water the rest of the day. Walking around an amusement type park in my bathing suit is not what I consider a good time though
I find I really do better with a plan in place and when I don't have a plan, I'm much more likely to not make healthy choices.
Twinmom, where are we hoping to be by 23 August, I don't remember the total.
Summer, I'm glad you were able to download the concerts My Dave Season is the 25-27th of August.
Avajayne, thanks for stopping by my journal And you're right, this does through my system out of whack.
And Mrs. B - I would LOVE to get on the scale next Saturday and see a 5 pound drop due to the excess water weight gain this week - although it seems unlikely, I've been sweating like crazy, so I'm sure I'm getting rid of some of it already!
Off to go read journals |

Rep Power: 16 | | | August 23 We are shooting ambitiously for 210 by August 23.
Hey, you might call ahead to the water park and ask them if you can bring your own snacks because of food allergies. I bet they will say it is okay. A little white lie, but in this case, I think it is forgivable!
Have fun, and don't forget your sunscreen! |

Rep Power: 83 | | | I'll give it a try Twin, but I've heard some negative things about this place and food - so we'll see.
As for sunscreen, we're a family of freckled, red heads, we don't leave home without it!! | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
