Day 1 - yes I've been here before but this time I have to lose some weight. I am feeling so flabby and the heat is getting to me. I feel ashamed to wear summery clothes and I realise how huge I am next to my collegues and friends. Enough is enough. My greatest fear is that when I lose weight my skin will look all wrinkly as I am now 40, I have good skin and virtually no wrinkles now, but when I lose weight I might end up looking haggard and wizened. I do hope I don't!! This I think is why I fear losing weight. But I suppose if I do look like 'She' at the end of the film, I can always put it back on again! Right so tomorrow I will start and keep to 22 points a day.

catesweight howdy and welcome back.... the only time I think skin in a problem is if you lose weight too fast like in the surgeries and such. even me being as large as I am I have notices the inches I have lost and the skin still looks the same. I think your skin knows what to do if you give it time to keep up.....

Thanks Hillbilly, I will bear that in mind, and well done for your weight loss!
Day 2 I have had a bad start as I went to a retreat with work buddies and it was all cream teas and cakes etc.. I didn't eat excessively but watching points was not part of the day. Nevermind, tomorrows another day!

Here, there is some good motivation for you. Think of it as an attack. You must fight the fat. Once you start losing, it becomes more of a habit, and you see results. It keeps you going. RIght now is the hardest point.

Thank you FatGuyTri, I think you're right, I just have to get into it, get started, it is difficult to keep up the dieting, I wish I had some more motivation!
