Awww what a cute puppy

Hello! It's been a very weird past couple of days. Fausto has been keepin' me busy and I think I have some kind of cold or something...my body is acting weird. I'm hot and cold at the same time. I'm sweating bullets and shivering. I don't get it. The cats are not at all pleased about Fausto..and he could really care less about them. I did .75 on the elyptical machine yesterday...that machine is tough (plus I feel weird so maybe that contributed) and I did my sit-ups. John's lost 8.5 pounds since we've started two weeks ago (yeah). Boy I hope my pretty kitties come around soon--I miss them.

I think your cats will come around. I have two cats and a crazy dog... hahaha. When my husband and I first got Banjo all he wanted to do was play with the cats. It took them 3 weeks or so before they finally started hanging around again. They still don't come out as much but at least I get to see them! They also want more attention from me now that I have dog... Hope everything works out for you!!

Super sad news. I think I'm severly allergic to Fausto. I've had a headache for three days and my asthma has flared up---the worst it's ever been actually. It breaks my heart because I know that John really really enjoys dogs and he's so taken with him. This really sucks....it was my whining and complaining about getting a puppy and now we're going to have to give him up.

I can understand not wanting to send him back to the sheltet... here's hoping your brother will take him. I'm so sad for you! It's not your fault though, you didn't know you'd be this allergic.

can you get antihistamines?
I have a cat but im fairly allergic to it. If i havnt had antihistamines and handle him my eyes swell closed, i itch, i sneeze non-stop.
I just got some tiny pills i take once a day and hey presto


Apparently there is an injection that lasts a couple months - but you put weight on if you take it lol

I'm sorry to hear about your puppy I hope your brother can take him for you.

Ok. Well the good news today is that I haven't been touching the puppy as much and haven't let him anywhere near my face and I seem to be doing ok, he was also outside a lot today and we gave him a bath. I haven't needed my 'rescue' inhaler all day. I took Benedryl this morning but nothing since. I got the coming ons of a headache after my workout but I seriously think my ponytail was too tight (sadly, I do that very often). I'm going to give it until Saturday, if I'm still alive I'll keep him. Oh and yes, the cats are coming around. The funny thing is the one that I thought would hide forever was the first one to come out and sniff him.

Ok, onto the major issue of weight loss. I had avoided the scale at the gym for a while now because I didn't want it to 'prove' my scale was wrong or 50 pounds off but today I stepped on it and Yippee!!! Our scales say the same weight 195.5 (which is what I weighed this morning on my scale, yes I cheated the FSD). So even with mother nature here I'm down 1/2 a pound from Friday which probably is a lot more than that because of all the water weight. Anyway.... John's down 8.5 pounds, I'm down and even 8 pounds--wahoo what a bunch of losers we are!!

YAY!! I hope you can keep him!! Maybe you are allergic to his saliva. My friend is allergic to dogs saliva and breaks out whenever she is licked.

does that mean you'll keep him? I hope so. maybe u should test what it is u're allergic to him. cause my boyfriend is allergic to cats but not their hair or saliva but mites or something that live on the cats. I hope you can keep him and that he'll play nicely with ur kitties.
