Rep Power: 31 | | Thanks everybody! *feels loved*
So far so good today. The kitties are getting more brave and hopefully Fausto will stop chasing them, well, he just wants to sniff them but they aren't going to let that happen so they run and well...he runs too.
I really enjoy the support, encouragement, and friendships that are present on this forum....it makes the whole weight loss situation loads easier....Thanks! |

Sounds like you're doing great! I've looked through your diary a bit. The dog is a cutie. You have a pic of your cat? I have two cats, but no dog. My hubbie is also kind of doing the dieting thing with me, but he can't be my buddy because he drops weight so fast, and I'm a slow looser.
you're doing great with exercise! Keep it up! |

Rep Power: 31 | | I most certainly do have pictures of my prettay-kittays!
Ok, first we have Bella (or as I call her Bellini Houdini). This cat can get up, in, around, on, or over anything--and I mean anything! Bella
Next we have Charlie. He is probably the most spoiled cat you'll ever meet but he's so lovable and fuzzy! Here he is eating food out of my hand: Charlie
Next is my pretty girl Sarah. She is not liking Fausto one bit but last night at 3:00 am she crept into the bedroom past the sleeping dog and woke me up just to have me pet her. In this picture she's mighty comfy sleeping with her head in my coat sleeve. Sarah Jane
Last but not least my little talker...Heidi. If you say 'speak', she'll meow. If you talk to her she'll answer...she even kitty barks (yes, it's a sight to be seen). I love how she has half a white lip and half a black lip..which is clearly visible in this picture. I caught her in mid-meow, it looks like she's saying 'hey!' Heidi
So beyond my pet obsession. Working out was ok, a little boring. I couldn't wait for my mile to be up. Hopefully next week I'll get back into a more gung-ho mood. But I'm still going and still trying to meet my goals. I weigh in tomorrow but I'm not really expecting anything because of mother nature...we'll see. |

Rep Power: 0 | | They are the cutest kitties! Two of my cats are a bit like the first two of yours - one is houdini, she can twist in the most unnatural poses, and the other one completely spoiled big and fluffy, and he knows exactly how to give you the cutest look so you can't avoid petting him. Have to say, cats really learn how to push your buttons when they want something.
Good job on sticking through boring exercise! I can so relate to that! Sometimes just one more minute seems as an eternity! |

Yes, that last minute or for me....last tenth of a mile seems like fooorrrreeeeeverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Hopefully today will be better.
We're still up in the air about giving Fausto back. John's not helping because he's not giving me a straight answer. |

Rep Power: 31 | | Ok, so it's been a weird weekend. My brother-in-law has lived with us for a little over a year now (witchy wife dumped him and left him flat broke) and every two weeks his kids get to spend the weekend with him, so you can imagine--a new puppy and two munchkins running around...I feel like there hasn't been a moment's peace. Fausto has been growling at them and even took a nip at Gabriella I just don't think that I'm a dog person. We took him to my sisters yesterday for my brothers b-day party (had a piece of cake-yum) and he made everyone there fall in love with him---although none of them could remember his name. Actually everyone game him a different name! Fausto became; Cosmo, Bingo, Fasto, Festo, and Fungo. I'm hoping that my brothers (who admittedly is the person I want Fausto to go too) kids will convince him to take the puppy. *everyone cross your fingers*
I'm starving...I need some lunch. |

Rep Power: 31 | | Ok props needs to go out to John who got up and went to the gym and left my lazy arse at home. Kudos to me for realizing that I'm a lazy arse and getting up and going to the gym even though John had left already and I could've just stayed home.
Met all my goals for this week. I will do some form of mileage this week, whether it's walking on the treadmill or biking...or even the dreaded elyptical machine!! I increased the weight on the sit-up machine to 65 pounds and I'm doing 125 sit-ups now. (well 126 to reach my goal for next week) I want that flat tummy!
On a funny note, Fausto doesn't seem to like my violin playing....he runs and hides and barks until I stop! I know I suck but there's something about a dog not being able to handle it that makes it very very sad |

Rep Power: 79 | | Wow good on you! Thats fantastic! Even better for John for getting out there and doing it even without company!
I think half the reason my weight loss is going as well as it has so far is because of the support my family gives me. Anything that wasnt supposed to going in my mouth gets questioned and everyday they check to see if ive done my exercises. |

I am very amused that your dog runs and hides from your violin playing... |

Rep Power: 31 | | Today was fine. I rode the stationary bike four miles today, did 130 sit-ups, 32 chest presses (i don't know what they're called) and 16 push your hands over your head things. I know...I shouldn't use such technical terms.
Feeling blah and can't wait for mother nature to drop the water weight and give me some accurate scale readings. |

Its very disruptive lol.
Love the technical names btw |

Rep Power: 31 | | I would love to pee non-stop to get this excess weight off!
Exercising went well. I did 6 miles on the bike (only b/c John's trainer is an idiot and started him 20 minutes late, so it was either exercise more or sit there...so I did more), my 125 sit-ups, 15 arms above the head things and 36 chest press things. I also have been cleaning out the shed in our back yard and that in and of itself is a freakin' workout! Ok, gotta run. | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
