I bought a bathing suit---and I went swimming today for the first time ever without wearing a t-shirt over my bathing suit to cover up the flab. :-O
Today is the start of our summer vacation and our double cardio routines. So far so good. I'm tellin' ya though, that scale had better start movin' down and stay movin' down.

Katie that's fantastic! Congrats to you!
The scale will start to move. Just continue to focus on all you've accomplished this far. THink back to day one and how you thought getting where you are today would take forever. Well its here and you deserve to be proud of yourself!
Yep, started the double cardio---well, John changed it around so now it's only double cardio on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and 1 round of cardio of Tuesday, Thursday...plus us clearing the monster bushes in our yard (we did two today and holy crap they're huge!!!), taking the roof and sides off of our hillbilly deck (oh it's awful, I'm so embarrassed by it!), ripping up the carpet in the 'blue room', cleaning out the attic, and throwing away a load of crap that we've accumulated throughout the school year...so yeah, we're keepin' busy!!
Plus---Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows comes out in less than a month---Yippee!!! I'm so addicted!
Good for you Kaitie!!! I am actually looking forward to my attempt to wear the bathing suit out in public. Last year, despite being up in weight, I made myself go without the t-shirt. This year I'm losing the shorts too. I know it's going to feel awesome!!

I cannot wait for Harry Potter! I've started the countdown.
That's a very ambitious routine you have ahead. You can do it and you're gonna be moving down that scale so fast!
Call me a loser if you must but I'm really annoyed that John hurt his back AGAIN and has consequently been sitting on the damn couch doing nothing for days. We had a BBQ yesterday and I did all the freakin' work, cleaned the house, moved tables and chairs, put together the new BBQ grill, prepped all the food---everything!!!! Part of me thinks that he's faking it so that he doesn't have to do any work. Shame on me I know---but it's f-in frustrating to be workin' my ass off and seeing him sitting on his damn ass and flipping through channel after channel for hours and hours.
Hi Kaitie,
Just popping in to your diary to say Hello! I noticed that our goalweights are the same. I started out at 209lbs and hope to be 130 by the end of the year. Seeing people on this forum with similar goals keeps me motivated. It's good to know no one is alone in their struggles; we're all here for support.
Hope your hubby's back is better soon. I understand your anger at his possible 'excuse' but I guess we all need a break now and then just as long as it doesn't become a habit.
