Well, it's been a busy summer!

Half the bushes are now gone (wahoo!)
Attic is clean and organized
Ripped up the carpet, painted the walls, and will be installing the new floor next week in one of the upstairs bedrooms (damn cats!)

and!! My Harry Potter obsession is in full swing! Read the new book twice now and I've started re-reading towards the end to catch some of the bits that I'm still a little 'huh?' about. But OMG, I love JKR...she's an amazing author.

Anyway, all is well. 146.2 this morning, one year after I found this lovely forum. So I've officially lost 57.3 pounds--wahoo!!!

Hey Kaitie, how's this school year shaping up?

Hello everyone!!!

I know---I fell off the face of the earth for a while but fear not, I'm still workin' on getting my ultra hot sexy body! So here's the deal, I'm completely satisfied with being at 145'ish (depends on the day, or the ice cream from the night before) so pushing for the 130's ---well, let's just say I've kind of lost my mojo. (One of my students said that to me last year in reference to his trombone practice, thought it was hilarious but now I understand what he meant.) Anyway, I'm going to try and re-apply myself to get down to 130 (even though in my head I just said 'but I don't want to!) Ok so the flesh is willing but the mind is weak.... John (who's 15 pounds away from the 100 mark) and I want to take a trip in March, we're thinking Hawaii---It'd be nice to be skinnier for that trip, also I want to have kids soon and I'm bound and determined not to gain so much weight that I'm a fat cow again so the lower I am to start the less I'll have to lose when I pop out the kid right? They say the average person puts on 20 pounds during pregnancy so I wouldn't be to far from where I am now which I think I'm pretty happy with---ok so there's my rambling talk. 15 pounds to go so that I'll be a super sexy mama for all the Hawaiians (sp) and so I won't look like a cow when I'm pregnant---seriously, I have this friend who I see rarely and so I went over to visit her b/c she said she was pregnant, well I went to see her and she was already so fat (250-275) that I couldn't tell that she was pregnant---I soooooooo don't want to be like that. Anyway, I guess I'm requesting some mojo assistance. I've been really good at maintaining my weight---I have to say that was one of my fears of leaving this site and then coming back, I didn't want to be one of those people who became semi-skinny, leaves for a while and comes back complaining that I put the weight back on...so wahoo on that point for me!

Ok, I'm done. My class should be coming down soon and as any teacher in the world could tell you---gotta go now or dance for 45 minutes!

Cannon: My school year has be GREAT!!! so far. I got my own room so I hardly ever see my bitchy collegue--WAHOOO!!!! and my schedule rocks, seriously it's the best schedule I've ever had in my 11--nope, 12 years of teaching! How are things with you? Did your summer turn out the way that you wanted? How's your new job?

OMH I've been sick and then find and then sick all week----it's freakin' crazy.

School's great! I had a group of 3rd graders today for violin, it was their first ever lesson and holy crap, all 5 of them walked out of that 40 minute lesson playing Mary Had A Little Lamb---this is extremely uncommon, in fact in my twelve years of teaching it has never happened. I'm very impressed!!! The next group (which is twice as big) did almost as well, if we had 10 more minutes they probably could've gotten to MHaLL but alas it's their homework and hopefully they'll knock me off my chair next week with their accomplishments.

Hmm....it's been quite a long time since I've written in my diary....weight issue is actually not a issue, I'm still doing great. Happy and content at 145, only a little gain over the holidays but I'll be back there soon.

So really, I'm not here to talk about weight, I just need to get a whole crap load of stuff off my chest....so sorry.

John is dilusional. He seems to think that everything is honky-dori when in actuality I just want to beat the crap out of him. I've put up with the same b.s. for 8 years and it's not changing---he seems to think that this last little mis-step of his isn't so terrible but when you compound it with the fact that it's been an issue for 8 years and not just this little bit that he didn't do well, I'm really mad. Pissed off actually. So upset that I just want to runaway...leave for a while. I've told him for years that it bothers me and he just doesn't get it...how can you expect me to hang around? How can we ever have kids it you don't resolve this issue---it's a physical impossibilty and holy $hit am I telling you that if one more person asks me 'so when are you going to have kids' I'm going to flip a freakin' lid. As if it doesn't suck already that I'm 35, married to a freakin' morbidly obese guy, AND -----Grr. If I had known about this particular issue with fat men I never would have married him. Screw religion about no pre-marital sex...it's better to know all of the information up front. 8 years.

you have to do what's right for you... you've got your future happiness on the line.. and your goals and dreams and all that...

sometimes you've done all you can and there comes time when it is time to cut your losses and just move on with your life...

nice to see you poking your head backin the door again.. even if it's just to unburden... that's good for what ails you sometimes
