Though you do get a pack of 'stuff' when you check in with all sorts of advertising freebies (energy bars and chocolate, magazines etc .. i give most of it to the kids .. NOT on the diet).
The reason i do em is because,
a) i have a goal to work for the next week or two or more
b) it burns a crapload of calories cycling hard for 3-4 hours
c) it burns more calories working up to it practicing Quote:

Work was long and tiring (TGIF!) then i went to pickup the kids early thinkin i could get some 'myself' time whilst waiting with my book only to have the principal of the school (next door) knock on my window.
I ended up spending nearly 2 hours sorting out their computer problems.
Then i had to go back to work for a meeting from 4.30-6pm, by this time my defrosted roast is still sitting uncooked on the bench at home so i swung by the supermarket and picked up some franks and buns.
Got home to find another dude over who wants some work done, so between that and setting up the local schools website and organizing DNS changes amoung other things its now nearly 11pm and im pooped.
I didnt even get time to get a workout in. And i have another dude turning up after 10am tomorrow morning about computer stuff :/
I reckon ill get a workout tomorrow after he comes past i think, then pickup my new skirt (size 16! (US12) woo!)
Anyway for now im hitting the sack! |
