STAR | Hah just dont get me to sing for you o_O
I love to sing, and i can sing well - but i get awesome stage fright that puts me right off key and muddling up stuff. I only managed the quick talk and being recorded because i literally learned over to my sons computer, got him to record it (he had a mic hooked up already) with no thinking about it
Had i thought about it id have sounded like a complete dork lol
Anyway - we should all do a skype conference together some day
So last night got invited out to a BBQ, also i picked up my new skirt (which was size 18 not 16 like advertised grrr, but it fits me anyway).
Today after brunch im gonna go out cycling and get in about 50km with some nasty ass hills in it. Try and get my endurance up somewhat for hill climbs and to assure myself that i can do the 65km for next weekends race
We had nothing in the house for breaky today so i had to go shopping - hence why its brunch today. Though we are making up for it.
I made some yogurt ice cream with the new ice cream maker, and we have bacon and eggs and pancakes etc too. Oh and hash browns.
hehe Double the calories! double the fun!
Im trying to raise my calories this week in anticipation of extra cycling next weekend. Im sitting closer to 1400 rather than 1200 i was. Not to sure if it will affect my weight loss, but because im doing more exercise i dont think its gonna make that much difference.
The thing is, im gonna be burning up to 3000 calories with cycling alone race days, so plus the old BMR im gonna really need some extra foods. |

Rep Power: 79 | | Arg well i managed to talk myself out of going for the 50km ride today grrrrr.
I hate how that happens.
My cycling buddy is lazy and never practices. it ends up slowing me down to speeds that dont challenge me. Also I couldnt get a hold of him today at all.
Anyway, went to another BBQ tonight at another friends and her other half is keen to do the 50km Tuesday (its a holiday here), so we're heading out at 8am tuesday to do it.
I did 35km on the exercycle over 90 mins whilst watching tv which was good anyway.
Ill do the same tomorrow. Calories again are at 1400 range which is excellent. |

Rep Power: 79 | | hahaha oh man you guys are a riot.
well i did 90 mins on the exercycle with a movie on.
I got to 30 and thought 'oh nah, flag it ill just stop here' then internal dialog said 'no, you got to here so you can get to 60 mins'
so i got to 60 mins and i thought 'oh this is easy enough i can probably get to 90 mins easy enough' at which point the movie ended and now its lunch time monday.
Anyway ill go put in an hour or more at the gym later tonight when hubby gets home and get some weight lifting in. Hopefully that can kick the scale back into moving.
Its really been moving slowly lately - its peeing me off big time.
i NEED to get down in weight as fast as possible. once im down to 'going into hospital' weight the rest can come off in its own sweet time - i dont care.
But my goal weight i was supposed to hit about feb 1st, not only did my goal change, but had that still been my goal i would have missed it by a couple weeks anyway - grrr
Anyway, ive upped my calories to 1400 this week to see if that helps and im upping the exercise and changing type (more aerobic thrown in with the cardio and anerobic). |
