Rep Power: 79 | | lol yeah Would be hard to contain the smoke though on a bike, maybe i should just bike ultra fast to make it smoke might be better
So the party was great, i had tp turn the computer off because we moved everything out of the lounge for the disco. then we built the framing for the lights to hang off. I barely had time to eat and in fact knew that I would be well under on calories so i chugged back a protien bar (was too tired to cook and the kitchen was a mess) and iron suppliment at like 11pm after the cleanup.
The next day (saturday) i had to run out to the shops to find a top to wear to my friends wedding at 11am (Nothing i have fits anymore!). My friend who is now the same size as me loaned me one but im not really one for wearing pink paisley numbers.... even if it does match the hair
So i got home with the new top, got dressed dropped off kids at assigned places, as we were on the way to the wedding i realized I had read the invite wrong. So 10 mins before the wedding we turned around towards the otherside of town 20km away and floored it. We got there just in time. The reception food was mostly picking at bits and pieces. So by the time we got home at about 4pm I was trying to remember 24 hours worth of food including 2 parties worth of picking at lots of bits for my food diary.
I went under calories at the kids party and i suspect a little over on the wedding (damn that brie cheese!).
Overall im knackered. But at least the lounge is almost back to normal. I have my new desk made up and the furniture re-arranged, now i just need to clean the kitchen hehe.
My back is sore from all the walking and standing and im still tired as flock, but i got through it and now only have the work doo on monday night to worry about. |

Rep Power: 0 | | | Wow, Wishes. I have not been in here in awhile and so much is going on between the KFC and Fashion talk....and now the place is a groovy disco. Your kids must love you to death! What a blast!
Looks like your doing great (even with the Chocolate and the KFC consumption) which I like to see because I am not giving up chocolate! |

Rep Power: 17 | | I used to scoff down loads of that brie cheese! Still, we all have to give in some where - with me its the wine ... and the beer ... and the well, you get my drift |

Rep Power: 79 | | Dont they just all go together though so well toothless
So i dunno if ive mentioned this before but fitday can be annoying (though its a fantastic site)
Stuff like , if i add mayonaise the default measurement is a cup. WHo on earth would eat a cup of mayo?! EWW!
And heres another pet hate. Measuring things are in lb or oz - im a kg and grams girlie and dunno that so resort to the 'cup' measurement.
Now when i say i ate a cup of chocolate cake i think 'hmm now if i pushed that down i bet i could get half that cake into a cup!'
I know its cheating but its evil! they need a density test hehe.
So i lost SFA this week, i think probably a bit of fluid retention and lazyness combined plus all the parties. Also the body is probably now used to my ruitine - time to change and take things up a notch before i plateau.
Ive been lucky so far and havent yet had a plateau, i just keep working it and bringing it on.
Im getting frustrated though because i feel like its been ages ive been working my ass off and im still hugly fat.
Im just so damned inpatient!
Now summer is nearly here i can start biking to work anyway - that might help |

Rep Power: 0 | | your house looks like fun the photos are great - how old are your kids?
i'd say well done for not gaining weight this week after your social activities - you've probably done some calorie cycling and will lose a lot next week! |

Rep Power: 0 | | | wishes, I know what you mean regarding fitday. I use it every day but lets say you ate so and so for supper. It automatically assumes all the ingrediants for you and you can't X out certain things and add on others.... bloody hell! |

Rep Power: 79 | | Had a work BBQ, went a little overboard on the calories at 1500 but thats my upper limit anyway. Did more this morning at the gym anyway so burnt like 1000.
Not overly dissatisfied or happy. Just very samey.
I think im just tired lol. Gonna go to bed now |

Rep Power: 31 | | I keep having to remind myself that it took me 15 years to pack on the pounds, it's going to take some time to get them back off again.... Not what any of us want to hear but it helps me out sometimes.
Wahoo for maintaining during all of your parties and such!
I agree completely with you about Fit-day. I tried to enter in Tango Chicken from Applebee's but I didn't know the carbs and it absolutely refused to let me do it!!!! |

Rep Power: 18 | | Yeah, that was one of my major issues when I was trying to decide between fitday and sparkpeople in the beginning. I like sparkpeople because you can put in everything that you know and it'll let you leave out stuff you don't. I also like that there's an area where you can put in your whole recipe and tell it how many servings and it'll do the math for you. |

Rep Power: 79 | | katie - aint that the truth about time to put on time to take off!
Manola, i would change but it would be an arse to move everything over hehe.
When i started i just googled some.
I contemplated writing my own that also did things like took into account your weight when you did exercise (a fat person burns a crapload more than a skinny one biking at Xkm/h) |

Rep Power: 79 | | Well i rode my bike to work yesterday, 7km of nasty hills each way.
Burnt 2000 calories in total for the day just with exercise, so thats good.
With all the dietry blundering and slacking off i needed this to kick me into gear. Unfortunatly i have bad knees that hurt when i do to much so i will only be able to do it every second day rather than every day. Thats fine with me, i dont want to screw my knees up worse. They just get sore underneath the kneecap and make horrible crunching noises like there is dirt in em. its pretty bad hehe. So i sat in the hot pool last night (at the gym) to see if that helped ease it a bit which it seemed to.
I drank over 4 ltrs of water i worked out. Thats a LOT of water. and at the end of the day had only eaten 1000 calories so i went and had some toast to try and make it up. I think im a little under but its no biggie.
Today there was nothing for breakfast and i forgot my lunch at home - we're off to a great start lol!
I even forgot my own birthday is tomorrow because my husband said he would be late home he was going to the shops and stupid ass me says 'what for?' and he goes 'you know what' and i was like 'umm ... no what?' and he had to remind me :/
Im going out to Thursday night curry tomorrow also so i said i dont want a huge family thing, just a family breakfast
Maybe Bacon and eggs! One of my friends was saying 'You're not gonna go to the gym on your birthday, just sleep in and get breakfast in bed right?' and i replied with 'ahhh no ill get my breakfast when i get home from the gym thank you very much!'
On another note i bought my new Hello Kitty water cooler with exactly 8 glasses of water in it to work yesterday. The new office girl who is this skinny indian girl (whos not entirely bad shes mostly ok) says to me 'Man you are lazy if you cant even be bothered going upstairs to get a cup of water!' to which i replied 'I got up at 5am, went to the gym till 7am, then biked 7km to work ... what have you done today?' to which she looked somewhat embarassed about lol |
