I hope your doing well and the day isn't dragging like around here blah! The only thing that sucks abouth this diet is it goes until Monday, and Sunday is easter which means a nice home cooked Easter dinner that I can't eat !! Also that day is brown rice and I am worse with rice than veggies so my plan is to cook the brown rich and mix it in with the soup lol then I can eat it.
Well you have a nice day and tomorrow yay meat day it just gets better excpet rice day blah...Tammy |

Rep Power: 83 | | Wishes - I can absolutely understand you being on this diet - how much do you need to weigh in order to go through with the surgery?
I simply don't understand why so many other people are doing this though? It's no different then any other restrictive low calorie diet. Do you know roughly how many calories are in the soup? |

Its just a chunky vege soup. at a guestimate its about 100-200cal per cup of soup.
I notice the first couple days you are very very low on the calories and other stuff, then midway protien is added in more etc. Im still taking my multi on this.
And my surgery goal is like 187lb/85kg - now aint that so close to be annoying |

So you intend to lose to around 187 for your surgery...and then you will continue to lose weigh AFTER the surgery? Or do you have a chance to get to goal BEFORE the surgery? I know you don't need anyone to tell you, but you have already done so great! I am certainly impressed. |

Rep Power: 12 | | Yeah, I know what the surgery is. Wishes, I was just wondering if the surgery date was dependent on you reaching 187 -OR- if there was a date already set ahead in the future and since you were already so close to 187 that you might actually have time to surpass that and/or make it to goal BEFORE the kidney transplant. |

I explained this somewhere in wishes diary that my reasons aren't near as reasonable as her's are BUT with me being around 180's for the past 5 months and even bounced around in the 190's plus lately my self esteem has BEEN LOW I mean way down there low so I figured it would give me a boost of energy confidence and also teached me to eat more veggies just have to exsperiment.I may even use the soup with my meals to get more veggies in,
so I see nothing but positives but like WISHES stated this isn't a diet you should continue for more than the 7 days. Hope your having a great day wishes,Any seasoning tips for the meat tommorrow my a1 has 6 carbs 35 cals 1 fat I don't know if they make a lower carb one but I was going to go check out.It says 10-20 ozs of beef and if I eat chciken breast skinless how many would = that? |

It doesnt matter that ive lost so much weight already which is friggen stupid, i mean they could have the tests and other stuff done before i got to the goal and just done the surgery when i hit it.
But no, ill hit the goal, THEN they do the tests, then a month or three later they do surgery when all tests are done. Quote:

star | Hell yeah! i plan to get down to about 135lb at LEAST, but i wont be in such a hurry though like i have been. In fact i plan to have a good month break after surgery to make sure im recovered properly (that doesnt mean overeating either, just means easing up). Quote:

Im choosing beef steak! and yeah your reasons are your own for doing this. You dont need to justify yourself to me or anyone else. You need to do what you think it takes to get you to your goal, and so long as thats not going to kill you or harm you then its really nobody elses business.
But im sure you arnt stupid or crazy enough to do it repeatedly anyway lol
I think after 5 mo plateau i would probably do it as well though also, though you may want to look into why the plateau has lasted so long, you exercising and eating ok normally? or slipping into bad habits again?
I know i have a problem slipping into bad habits :O | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
