Good on you for staying in control of that diet and picking your own time to move on.
It's wonderful that you're so close to your surgery weight now.
I just love your stories about your husband picking you up and about the way your whole family is supporting you.
I hope you're enjoying Easter with your wonderful family.

Rang the hubby and we drove to anotehr one that was 10km away also closed, then went to a gas station.
Ive decided to forgo the last day on this diet for a couple of reasons.
1) I hate this diet, its horrible i crave breads and chocolate
2) Ive lost the weight i want to, 0.7kg should be easy to drop
3) ive broken the plateau and then some
4) I dont honestly think ill loose much more by eating rice and veges, oh yeah and i really dont much like rice unless it has some sort of sauce/gravy
Ive stuck to it fine throughout, ive had great sucess, ive hated every second of it also |
YAY congrrats I thought the sane thing if I didn't fall off at the end of day 4!
But eating rice and the soup for a day I don't think much more will drop but look at how much you dropped for your surgery! You got everything you wanted out of the SH diet,Have a great day |

The problem with that diet is that it denies you so much that you end up overeating if/when you finish. I had real trouble restraining myself which was one of the many reasons i quit it. Quote:

Rep Power: 79 | | Okay, so now i have to get back into the habit of eating real foods again hehehe.
Today i had pancake for breakfast, and a cadbury creme egg, then (350 total cals) then i went for a run to my friends which is 3mi away and burnt 350cal
So im all good for that!
Im tossing up weather i can/will do a 90km race thats on the 5th May that i really want to do. Will i be fit enough for it, and will i be doing tests in the hospital.
I think ill ring the hospital tomorrow and let them know im at my goal weight, then ask them how long things will take |

Its a hard and long journey at the best of times to loose weight, and the hardest part is waiting for it to go!
But i can assure you, its worth every single bit of it when you hit your goal. The compliments, the change in attitude you get from people, the whole being able to buy clothes off the rack. Its absolutly fantastic and worth it.
So yeah, dont give up, just take it day by day | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
