Well, i gained a little overnight - probably from the chocolate and diet coke (sodium etc) yesterday heheh. Im sure it will drop off easily enough.
Today i made the call to the hospital, they are sending me the packs and it takes apparently 3 months to do all the tests etc.
So i SHOULD be able to loose another bunch of weight before doing the actual kidney donation which is awesome!
Not only that, but i can do the race i wanted to do!
Anyway, test sheet is in the mail box to do, ill do that firstly, and register for this race!
Congratulations on that surgery weight!!
And I see you're on to the next goal right away. The race sounds a bit scary, but I know there's nothing like conquering your fears. And ours..
Have a terrific week!
Juliette
hey wishes! i logged on after 4 days & just saw your new avatar. u look fab!! good job on the SH diet. i thought i too would start it this week. But i've shelved it for the moment, coz the husband is on a 2 week vacation & he lives to feed me. It'll just not work. Maybe later!

You know I started taking before and after pictures too... But instead i gained weight
Hopefully, I'll follow in the same direction as you and actually do it.

Im not gonna win the race, i just want to be able to finish ... to be able to say i did it! and didnt quit!
I just wanted to say you've done an amazing job, and are such a source of inspiration! I'm pretty new to the forum, and I know there's going to be times when I want to give up, but if that happens I'll look at your pictures and your progress over the last year and push on. Congrats again and keep up the good work.
RhoRho, i recall being just like you only 8-9 months back.
I trolled through the before/afters for a fair bit to make sure it was possible and not just some gimmick by companies to sell stuff!
I was at the stage that i honestly didnt think i could do it, but was determined to try. Being here, and having fitday, and educating myself was the key to success.
Mostly the latter, the educating. There are a lot of false prophets about trying to sell you stuff, and a lot of news items on TV that are blatently false, or grosly exadurated. Tons of Urban Myths and Fairy tales etc.
The best way to learn is to keep searching online, and listen to the people on this forum who have proven results. Not to mention being totally honest with yourself (even if you lie to everyone else ) and choosing a plan that you can stick with.
best of luck, Ill be keeping an eye out for your before/afters
I still have a bit more weight to drop yet!

Thats because you dont eat your oatmeal for breaky!
Im never gonna forgive you for that! :O
Funnily enough, people over here just dont eat it, its considered yuck. There are a few of us who love it, but i distinctly recall it not being 'cool' when i was the only kid at school camp tp eat it over weetbix
