Well i got to the gym again today for 40 mins cardio. 20 mins cycling, 20 running/walking.
My walking times have improved heaps now i can do it, and my running times.
I started out walking at a speed of 5.5km/ph (3.4mi/ph) and now i sit at a steady 7.5km/ph (4.6mi/ph).
My average jogging is now at an average of 11.5km/ph (7.1mi/ph) and running at 13km/ph (8mi/ph).
I have no idea if any of those times are fast or slow because i have no idea whats normal. But im super happy with the improvement! as well as the speeds! Now im trying to get endurance more, keep it going for longer periods. ATM I do somewhat of a HIIT style treadmill, go hard out, take it down to a jog when i cant go hard out anymore, then when im about to die i bring it back to a walk. rinse, lather, repeat.
Oh and ive decided to set my phone calendar to remind me of all the fitness classes at the gym during hours that im not busy. So it will basicly give me a verbal nudge 5 days a week.
There is Body Combat (martial arts style arobics), Body Jam (high impact dance style aerobics), and Body Pump (super high fat burning weight based aerobic workout).
Anyway im getting off the computer now, i have the munchies and eating WAY to many carrots and hummus :/ |

Have a wonderful weekend,Tammy | Actually i was sorely disappointed in the workout. It was pathetic.
The dancing itself was fun, and i learnt some great moves. But although the instructor was sweating and breathing hard, i was barely breaking a sweat!
Now i thought that i would struggle, but the only thing i was struggling was all the moves rather than being hot and tired :/
I will probably do it again, but more for the dance side of it than anything else. I always wanted to learn some cool hip hop moves |

P.S. Isn't it great to have to go out and buy something cuz nothing you own fits anymore!! |

Hope the weekend is treating you well!
Good for you for getting out there and shopping - I keep finding I go shopping but I don't go *buying*
Sorry to hear the class was a disappointment - but chances to dance are a good thing |
