Her bike needs adjusting more i think. She was not really tired at all, and she did really well. Considering shes only 11 years old and clearly the youngest rider in the pack
After she got picked up at the 20km mark, i said ill finish the ride. At that point i was last by yonks! so i hot footed it at a very quick pace over the huge mountains and caught up with the last of our bunch about 5km out. Then took a nice easy ride whilst chatting to my mate Gordon who was riding with his daughter (14) for the last 5k.
All in all it was a good ride - lovely day - but im knackered. I have to say, my riding has improved 100x recently with the new training im doing with weights |

It's interesting that you're saying your weight training is helping with the bike riding. In what way have you noticed it helping? |

2) I go faster up hills
thats pretty much the gist of getting better at any cycling isnt it? |

Rep Power: 43 | | Man, I wish my sons would ride with me, your soooo lucky!! My boys used to go to the gym with me all week, then for some reason, they both slacked off, it sucks I get really motivated when I know they are with me. Great job on your ride!!

Rep Power: 79 | | ho ho quick update.
My birthday tomorrow - i bought a new skirt online but it never arrived in time for the party tonight (last party of age 33!).
Going out to the pub for drinks and karaoke with friends, and im gonna dress up super sexy! yeaah!
Been sick as a dog the past week with the flu, took some drugs that made me spin out for a few days but feel better (if not stoned lol).
Foot got injured but its on the mend so yeah no exercise other than weights this week.
all in all life is good, i look hotter this birthday than i did the last *G*
Will take pics |

I went out last night - had the time of my life! was awesome!
I dressed super sexy - had guys drooling! it was fantastic.
And to top if off, i was able to fit my latest Goal pants! WOOT!
So camo pants and a cowl neck style backless halter top thing. Hid all the front buldges and showed off all the muscle lol plus my camo pants.
I looked HOT! I got hit on lots, but spent most of the night cuddling hubby and having fun with friends
I even managed to win $20 on pokies with the help of a friend who also provided cake and pressie, so later in the evening i managed to slip the winnings into her bag when she wasnt looking (i know shes not that well off atm, her phone got cut off this week).
Anyway, today i woke up and ive dropped off a bunch of weight! what a wicked birthday pressie. im almost under the 80kg mark - i cant wait for that 7 at the beginning.
Cant be assed working out the lb and updating tickers now - ill do that some othertime when theres a bigger difference.
Exercise wise will be kicking up a gear soonish because there are larger races and i need to be cycling a LOT.
The rest of the weight will fall off once that happens no doubt. Though as ive said before, im not overly fussed about it anymore. Last time i was this size i was 16 years old, so im pretty darned happy with me the way i am
Im not super skinny, im not fat, or even chubby, im just womanly
My dress turned up today, it looks great and goes well with a top i also have. Ill have to wear it to my husbands xmas do later in the year |

Rep Power: 79 | | Oh yeah, and i measured the waist of my old pants. They it was about 130cm - thats about 51.5 inches.
Currently my waist measurement is 79cm which is 31"
Hows that for some drastic action.
And to put that into perspective - my husbands waist is 81cm/32" - and hes a skinny rake of a guy |
