Aww thanks - Its Fluro orange now

So Today i bought a pair of 'Goal Pants'
My clothes are terribly baggy because I have refused to buy new ones. I dont want to celebrate to soon even though ive lost 45lb(20kg). So going to the gym in baggy baggy pants is becomming a problem, I cant workout. I finally gave in and went to buy some new pants, All the pants that I could find that fit were icky - the only pair i liked were a size to small (ok they probably stretch but im not gonna go there!).
So now this is my goal - to fit into this pair of pants - when i can do that then i can wear them t the gym

Some added motivation!

On another note i have lost more weight! horay! only 0.6kg or something lol but thats like 1.3lb!

I have come to the conclusion that walking around in overly baggy clothes is NOT good

It might be better to have a few items in each size range so that you have *something* to wear.

Congratulations on the weight loss! It definitely shows in your pictures!!

So I went out to a resteraunt last night - everything was free (husbands work do) and it was like $50 per person or something so they had some *fantastic* food.
My amazingly wonderful husband sent me the menu the day before we went so I knew what to expect and what I could order and how I was gonna budget my calories.
It was italian! do you know how little italian food is good for you ?! Lets see ... everything had tons of oversweet tomato sauce, lots of mince, cheese, pasta etc.
I was relegated to a MASSIVE salad with chicken bits in it. I told them to hold the oil dressing. Now thats one expensive fricken salad for $50!

Since i knew that was what i was gonna order i had a few calories up my sleeve for entrees which was some kind of smorgasboard plate thing with cheeses, breads, olives, weird bacon things, bits of veges. I ate brie cheese on garlic bread - it was AMAZING!, then to finish off dinner i had a brandy snap! with cream!
I tell you it was worth that massive chicken salad (which i didnt end up finishing because it was sooooo big).

Anyway Total calories for the day was about 1450-1500 which is my upper limit, but perfectly within my range .

Wishes, you handled that dinner SO well!! Being able to see the menu and plan is such an important element to not binging in that kind of environment!

You did GREAT!!!

Wishes thats great. I do the same thing when I'm going out. I get on line and check the menu and know what I want and then when I get there I politely tell the waiter or waitress if they bring the dessert tray buy ill break both of their leggs....... OK its crude but it works lol.........

haha i like that - i think i said something similar about the mayo and dressings, the guy looked distinctly displeased.
I am going out next friday also to some restraunt and have already checked the website and menu out before even accepting the invite

Being Thai i wasnt sure what most of the ingrediants were - let alone if i would like them! I already know what I'll be having (lamb steak and salad mmmm)

Thai food ain't bad. I is loaded with calories with the oils and coconut milk and things like that. I think it is still pretty good for you but the choice you made is probably the best. Just for general info the main ingredient is hot. man they use every pepper under the sun lol...........

Well! I am soooooo happy!
Today i popped in to a local kmart style shop to pickup a book. Anyway i thought ... mmm ive lost a bit of weight ... id love to try some clothes on...'
I was a tight size 26 before, those pants are rather loose. So i figured I would try a 24. I picked up a pair of jeans in size 24 and then noticed the 22 next to them and thought 'just in case... might be a great "goal" pants'.
Anyway I got into the changing room and tried on the size 22 .... AND THEY FIT!!! HORAAAYY! im soo flabergasted! i bought them!

Im just dancing with glee!

ps. All sizes are New Zealand sizeing not US sizing (which i think its a fair bit smaller - a size 2-8 here would be a young childs clothing!)

I highly recommend Som Tom, it's a papaya salad. mmmm so good, especially if you like spicy. (I still think my Thai mom makes it better than any restaurant)
