I could probably go to 65kg (145lb?) but would look a tad skinny on me i think. And i do prefer the normal look.
My main concern is i have belly, ass, and thigh fat i still want gone. So its not the weight so much as i want that little pesky bit of fat gone
There is no fat up top (no boobs either!) and no fat on the legs from just above the knee downwards, its just the middle bit :/ |
HMMMM girly sounds like the same probs I have!! |

Rep Power: 12 | | That makes complete sense.
I can completely understand. I am a totally stubborn person so if I set a particular goal...damn it I'm gonna make it just out of principle!!!
I hear you on the belly/ass fat. I know that when I reach my goal, I'll still have fat that could go. Secretly, (as I declare it to the www) I feel that my goal is a bit on the safe side and hope that I can go beyond it. I'm just scared that if I set too low of a goal, I'll be disappointed if I can't make it.
You've gotten so far and I can see that you are really clear on where you want to go! |

Rep Power: 79 | | thats a good call. Ive set myself an easy target goal (supposedly) so if i dip below it then its fine.
I think partially its motivation thing because you get the attention from all the loss you've done already, and you look great and fit clothes so you get a bit 'meh' about it all.
But im past that bit. i want to hit my goal. I only really had 2 goals, the 85kg and the 70kg and im so close to it :O |

Rep Power: 12 | | | I just checked out your vellofile website. Gotta say that you look pretty darn hot in the Lake Taupo picture! As amazing as fancy dresses look...I have to say that a fitted t-shirt and a pair of jeans is the true test. When you can pull that off you know you're the shit. Oh how envious I am of you!!!
By the way, I absolutely killed myself laughing looking at the segway polo pictures on your flickr. I guess polo just made the twenty-first century! |

Rep Power: 13 | | Gotta love people who haven't seen you for a while huh?? Even though that particular one sounded ahem... a bit creepy!
I am sure you will get over this plateau, but your body might need a bit of time. It was used to this huge person, and then suddenly it was "starved" and exercised and maybe now it is saying: gimme a break! You look hot, so let me rest at this weight for a bit!
I showed your pics to my man and he was quite gobsmacked! He went through a quite impressive weight loss when he hit full blown puberty. He was probably around 85 kg on a body of 1.65 or 1.7m and from the pictures it looks like he was quite... wobbly! Then he grew up to 1.8 and lost weight down to 70kg and now he is one big ass hottie (with a very very tiny ass actually!). But he still takes a lot of care of his body, won't eat too many sweets, he never indugles like other 23 year olds do, and he does exercise.
Well this terribly boring story was just to say, he knows what it feels like, to lose weight (although I am pretty sure he would have lost some of the weight even without much work, because that is how his family seems to work, chubby until puberty and then superskinny) and he was very impressed.
It must be hard for your kids by the way. My mom is a MILF and it depresses me again and again... but I am glad because maybe maybe I will be one too... we will see!

The segway polo thing happened a few years back, it was way more intense than i thought it would be! definatly an expensive sport! Quote:

Rep Power: 26 | | I try not to even think about getting older (that's probably why I forget how old I am sometimes.) I think that you have to keep yourself looking good no matter what size. It really helps with your self-esteem. |

| You sound like you have the same body type I do. It's so frustrating because it seems like that midsection fat is the most stubborn. I do get fuller in the face and upper arms when I'm at my biggest, but it's the first weight to go. It's all the middle stuff that just seems to want to stick around.
I completely understand and respect that you want those last few kg gone. I mean sure, you've developed a phenomenal body, no doubt, but I understand about the goal. I hate not acheiving goals. Just give it the time, energy, and consideration you think it deserves, and it willhappen for you! |

Rep Power: 79 | | well the scales are still saying good things - in fact better things than yesterday! so i can only hope!
its so hard sticking to the 1200 calories thing again - seriously!
Im also being particularly religious about 'creep' ... you know when you dont count some things because they only 20-50 calories ... they do all add up though so im counting them all!
I got a new helmet light for my bike so i can ride through winter - its getting darker at night time now and this is gonna help me ride through winter (so long as it doesnt rain of course!). |

I freaked out this morning though - it was colder than usual, the light was fantastic, i stopped at traffic light anc could smell a burning smell, and then noticed smoke all around me. I paniced thinking the battery or light was on fire ... but turns out i was just hot and the steam was off me. The smoke smell must have been a car or fireplace nearby :O
Yeah lunch was a bit of creep, we had the weds BBQ and i had 2 hamburgers, and then i discovered 2 marshmellow easter eggs id hidden in the freezer last week which i also devoured. im at 1400 for the day and its only 1.30pm!
Ill have mashed pumpkin for dinner which ought to fill me and keep me within my limits.
Also im going cycling tonight which ought to help burn a fair bit off. |
