Rep Power: 79 | | ok well the 'diet' of cutting processed foods and sticking to more 'raw' foods seems to be working obscenely well so far and its easier than i thought to stick to.
Basicly sticking to 1200-1500 cals, having steak and veg pretty much every meal leaves me feeling full and not craving. Pretty much 150gm steak plus tons of veges.
I took yesterday off work to go to hospital and meet the surgeon which went well, he told me what kinda stuff to expect which was good. Then went and took the kids to Hannah Montana movie - which was just a 3D version of her concert. It was horrible and painful and very expensive experiance that i shall never repeat anytime soon. But the kids enjoyed it.
I got stuck into some code from about 4pm onwards and ended up doing HEAPS of excellent work until about 10pm at which point i had to call it quits.
Anyhoo very busy day, and the week wont get much better lol. But still, feels good to be alive!
btw, does anyone know what the hell this new fashion of pulling a fish face is all about? seems popular with kids on myspace and bebo? |

Rep Power: 79 | | hmm ok maybe i had fluid retention, but seriously, this not eating processed stuff has dropped me a ton of weight fast. Im not even staying away from sodium or doing exercise either and ive lost 2-3lb in like 4 days. I feel more energetic, the brain seems to be working a heap better, and im nowhere near hungry at all, in fact im having trouble fitting in the minimum calories.
Most meals consist of a decent sized lump of meat, and a couple of cupfuls of veges. breakfast is the weirdest - eating steak and veges for breaky just seems weird and odd lol.
Just happy atm that the weight is comming off again, though id like to see if it is just fluid which i suspect, or is this the shizzle to take me down to my goal weight. |

Rep Power: 79 | | so a friend of mine is severly overweight. shes got some serious personality problems which annoy the shit outta me (including showing how much weight shes lost when shes lost none ... every time i see her!)
She was telling me how she got her kids (who are severaly overweight also) to have an ice cream eating competition. the winner ate 15 scoops of ice cream!
So we were at her other daughters birthday and they were telling me this, and the younger said she stopped at 8 scoops, "it was a bit fatty". and her sister immediatly pipes up snarky "stop calling me fat! you always call me fat! muuum shes calling me fat!".
At this point i turned to her and said "First of all she said the ice cream was fatty, not you, a little over-sensitive are you?, secondly, if you dont like being fat then do something about it!"
Maybe it was a bit harsh, but shes young enough to handle. and it wasnt the first time she had gone off that night. |

Rep Power: 66 | | Sounds like our menus are fairly equal as are the results. I've had nothing but great results with raw fruits and veggies.
I'm pretty stoked your zeroing in on your GW. What a great story you are and how epic goal day will be *I shiver*
Please don't punch the chunky chick. Obv she's trying to find a way to be in your world thru some weird connection. She's probably a bit jealous, I'm guessing. |

Rep Power: 79 | | Yeah T2, the raw foods are the key. I get to the end of the day and have eaten tons of food and still only just hitting the 800-1000 calories mark so i have to eat more. But the best part is that im really clear headed and more energetic than i was.
As for the girl, ive told her what to do and how to do it before, i even went to her house most days for a good several weeks and she lost a few kg, but then she gave up.
To be honest, i think she likes to ignore the fact that shes fat and pretend shes not. I can tell that by the way she wears push up bras on her E cups, and mini skirts on her size 18 butt (thats about an american 22).
Yeah, anyway, only thing not 'raw' or starch is pretty much the 2 trim mochas i allow myself per day. With marshmellows (20cals!) |

I'm sure she's heard for too long - oh honey you're not fat.. you're beautiful... well - reality check... |

Rep Power: 13 | | I don't really know, because I was the chubby child in the skinny family, but I think for some kids it just is the reality they are born into.
When mommy eats 5000 cals a day and daddy eats 7000, then it feels normal that you, at 10, would eat 3000!
And clearly they have fat genes !! I think depending on her age that was a good comment (if she is really small then I am not so sure about, small fat kids... I feel so sorry about them because they don;t control what goes into their mouths).
Once I sat down on a hairbrush and jumped up and said: "man, that is prickly!" my sister started crying. When I asked WTF was wrong with her she said: "I am not so PIMPLY!"
Kids... (insert rolling eyes smiley here).
Good for you for the 3 pounds down. Processed food just sucks!

Its amazing how ive seen people who think that they can do this, I have a skinny friend who insists she eats tons of food and calories trying to gain weight and goes on about it a fair bit. i think she honestly believes that she does but shes the opposite to me and always looks for an excuse to not eat food. "oh im feeling a bit queasy" or "i ate a big breakfast" etc, othertimes she fills a large plate, nibles at things and then spreads it out so it looks like shes eaten most of it.
Anyone who wasnt watching closely would think she does eat lots, however in reality shes kidding herself much like i was when i was overeating. The pity is that shes convincing other people who overeat that there are people who can eat thousands of calories more than they use or need without gaining weight.
Anyway as far as my diets going, lost another lb it looks like this morning. Very happy with that. thats 4lb for this week, and a new week started. |
