Sorry to hear about the blah-ness. Hope you ditch the funk soon, Liz. And on the eating 'good' front.... most people I've encountered never reach a point where they can make decisions comfortably without tracking. At least not most who have struggled with weight in the past.
Don't get me wrong... I've met some. But most do not reach that point.
They hover around and bounce off that point... but they inevitably slide back to old habits. I don't think it's impossible. I think it takes a lot of reprogramming of the mind, though... and people are already exerting a ton of effort to lose the weight. They leave the mind part out of it.
Hey Liz. Its been a while since I dropped in on the cover girl's diary. I suddenly don't feel glam enough anymore. LOL. I still can't believe I'm rubbing cyber shoulders with a celebrity... so do you mail out signed portraits to your adoring fan club? Sign me up!
How goes the cycling. Last I heard, you were breaking in a new bike. Are you still getting good mileage in despite the weather? Why can't it be summer all the time!
I like your plan for working out the drama with your son's ex. I think it should do the trick. Are you worried that it might be true? Your son must have been rattled!
Well i went to get some medication for my ecsma the other day, and the guy commented on some dry cracking skin at the side of my mouth saying that looks like a vitamin B defieciancy.
I looked it up online and apparently it was a symptom, even though i thought i had a good diet. I do know some liver tests i had turned up slightly odd, so i was wondering if something was up and i was low on vit Bs. I do know i go great guns on cycling and eating and then slack off feeling like crap, then up and down like that for a month or two each cycle. So I bought some complex B vits and my skin is clearing up and overall im feeling heaps better in the last 24-48 hours.
Perhaps thats been my problem all along? not having half as many problems as i was now with cravings, and more energy also.
We'll have to see. As for the son and his ex gf, i have yet to see proof or hear any more about it. Ill leave it a month or so. See what happens.
of course ill get it scanned in and posted!
it comes out in aussie on the 11th, i dont get it here until the 15th, so ill get my friend in aussie to scan it in for me so i can see it
Steve,
Actually no i doubted very much i was even B defiecent because i know i eat plenty of foods with it ith vit B in them. i even read up to see which foods and they were the mainstay of my diet weirdly enough. However now that im taking the vit tablets my skin has cleared up (dry cracked and peeling), and my energy level is up, my allergies have all but disappeared. Quiet amazing and scarey. Not a miricle cure, but definatly an improvement.
On the home side of things, my daughter has been teaching herself the guitar and written her own song. Once she finishes ill youtube it because its so pretty and cute
This was just a quick drop in before going to work anyway - i gotta go get my cycling gear on
Oh another quick post on the way out the door this morning.
Funny thingi noticed when reading up about the vit b's. Apparently a side effect of being deficient is weight loss ..... however by having extra it speeds up metabolism or some crap and also causes you to loos weight ... how daft is that!
Mind you, its a win win situation! Only weight loss i noticed was a distinct lack of bloating and water loss so far. However i havnt activly been trying to loose weight anyway, just trying to stick to the good foods again. Thats been a heap easier now im not so cravy.
Ive had a ton of cookies in the cupboard and im not even remotely tempted by them at all.
rotfl, man thats funny
my brother is amused to see that he apparently 'burst into tears', and im amused to see my black top is now blue!
Amoung other things - take the story with a HUGE cup of salt
General gist of its right, but thats about it. But its good for amusements sake!
