Rep Power: 79 | | Ohhhh!! my old personal trainer is doing some new course for body fat and measurement testing thing
and he needed to practice on subjects, so i volenteered.
This is what he has to say ... Quote:
Your Somatotype is 2.8-6.1-0.5 Making you a Meso Endo. This means your body type leans towards being a more muscular type person. You were moderate in the Endo (round and soft), high in the Meso (solid and muscular), and low on the Ecto (long and lean).
Your BMI was 27.8 (but we know not to follow this type of measurement)
Your waist/hip ratio was 0.74 which is excellent with females they should be under 0.8.
Usng the 6 skin fold site Yuhasz charts it has calculated you have 13.2% body fat but again this isn’t the best way to measure you loss or gains. The best way is to keep track of the sum of all your 8 skin folds. | |

Rep Power: 79 | | Hmm not as awesome as they might have been if i hadnt regained that weight
But ahh well, its finally going now.
I finally cut the bread out again and its been 3.5 days almost and my skin is clearing up again. Im finally over the bread binge.
Eating pretty much the best thing for me that seems to make me loose weight and thats meat and veges, no potatos.
Breakfast was steak and coleslaw with a light dressing and my 1 daily trim mocha (my only vice, limited to 1 a day).
I finally also tried something else to help since i only have 3 weeks before surgery and i really want the weight gone. I bought 'Body for Life' fat burners. Its a capsule of basicly caffiene, chillies, gurana, green tea and all that kinda stuff designed to speed up your metabolism. Its pretty expensive at $35 for 10 days worth, but im only planning on taking 10 days worth at most. I took the first dose this morning and within 5 minutes i was sweating up a storm and taking clothes off.
Clearly its not too much of a gimmick! if only i had remembered to put on antipersperant before i left hoime! but i was running late. I have the feeling im gonna regret that |

Rep Power: 79 | | ahh well i feel a bit weirded out all day - kinda like over caffinated feeling.
Not sure i overly like it, i hate feeling out of it - hence why im strictly a nodrugs kinda person - dont even like panadol
Ill probably finish them if i can stick with it, im still curious as to whether i loose more or not. Always a bonus if i do. |

Rep Power: 79 | | Ookidoke, no major major weight loss other than a couple lb this week, but at least im at the 75.5kg mark, id like to be under 75kg before the surgery.
Sticking to the nasty restrictive diet thing which im absolutly hating. Those fat burning pills seems to keep me warm on these cold winter days and also stop that horrible hunger/craving thing i tend to get after dinner which is awesome. Dunno if they actually do anything in regards to looosing weight. Anyway im sticking with this until i a week before the surgery (so 2 weeks) or until ive dropped enough/too much weight.
Mostly i just want to get under 75kg at night, so i oughtta be about 73ish in the morning. I think i should be able to do it, id much rather be eating normally though lol.
i guess i have to pay the price for overeating for those couple of weeks! |

Rep Power: 79 | | okay, have lost a bunch of lb this week. Its been friggen hard work, and darned tempting to eat otherwise, but ive finally got past the overeating/binge thing which was a major problem. Im organizing for moving house and clearing out tons of things so we have less to take with us.
My daughter did a 36km bike ride today in the pouring freezing rain and i followed. Good for her, she was warm from exercise! not so good for me i was frozen solid by the time we got back because it was barely any effort for me
On the plus side it burnt a few extra calories ... possibly not as many as i could have for 2 hours riding! lol. But still more than if id sat at home |

Rep Power: 79 | | wow as of this morning a bunch more. Seems it pays to be exercising at a lower rate for a nice long time in the freezing cold lol.
I was soo tired last night i began to overeat. I held out staying awake until about 9pm at which time the kids were all in bed and i hit the sack absolutly knackered. Funny how being cold makes you tired eh.
Anyway to date so far about 6.6lb down and 6.6lb to go on that horrid re-gain weight. Im eating pretty much meat and vegetables with 1 trim mocha thrown in a day. Its been really hard work, plus exercising, but it seems to be paying off big time.
As always though with any restrictive diet you tend to loose more in the first week, so i wont hold my breath to loose 6lb in the next week lol |
