The kids have now banned me from playing because i beat them everytime! Its the only game im good at on the ps2
So life is sucking for me today.
I kept waking up every 30 minutes thinking the alarm had gone off and i was late to get to the gym. i woke at 2am,2.30am,3am etc till 5.30am when i finally got up and went. I got on an exercycle and started peddling my warm up, after a couple minutes i grabbed my bottle and took a healthy swig only to choke and cough with a full mouthful of water which made a perfect arc over the exercycle and all over me!
I was torn between embarassment and laughter - everyone was watching so i just laughed it off. Anyway back to cycling some more and my seat suddenly without prompting drops 2 or 3 positions down, no idea why but i just kept going again.
Anyway I weighed myself and no weight loss since last week - im gutted.
Time to change the diet and the exercise some more i think.
Im gonna throw in some swimming some laps in the evenings and try eating more meals of less quantity through out the day, perhaps cycle to work ...
I hear ya!! Plateau's suck! Today I finally got off mine, thank goodness. I actually had to up my cals for almost a whole week and then it just dropped off.
I noticed in somebodies diary they had a vege lasagne - i couldnt believe it had such low calories.
Anyway I was craving lasagne so Ive made my own rendition.
I have a HUGE bowl and spent like ages adding up all the ingrediants and its 2280 cal for the entire bowl which will feed my family of 6 plus left overs for tomorrows lunch.
All up i should be eating about 250-300 calories and having a massive plateful!
Heres my recipe for anyone who wants it.
1kg of veges (frozen chunky kind) - 190cal
3 cans of crushed flavoured tomatoes - 300cal
1 can chilli beans (had to add em! lol) - 420 cal (i regreted it after seeing that haha)
2 packets of 'lasagne' sachet stuff - 200 cal
300g flat pasta 450 cal
4 packets of cheese sauce - 720 cal
Mixed all the top items together then layered vege mix/cheese sauce/pasta as lasagne normally is - just waiting for it to cook

And you are almost to you halfway mark! Congratulations! And how cool about having to buy pants TWO sizes down!!! So happy for you, dear. You just keep up with what you are doing and you will reach that goal in no time at all.

The lasagne was great - kids didnt even notice it had no mince until my husband pointed it out and made a big deal about it. I growled him and told him to shut the F* up
