Rep Power: 79 | | Oh, on another note.
My daughter came home from school yesterday upset. She apparently overheard a teacher saying to another parent that i (as in her mother) was "ugly but clever".
Ive sent a letter to the teacher and school saying the following. Quote: |

Rep Power: 21 | | | Wow, if my son came home upset about something like that I'd shred the letter and have a good ol' face to face with said teacher in the presence of the school principal. Thats just inappropriate to the n'th degree and she should be subjected to a disciplinary action.
Teachers are supposed to help children grow, not only as students but as people. Its so dissappointing when a teacher obviously never grew up herself. |

Oh....sorry about your bottom. My daughter has a really cushy seat put on her bike. I paid like 10 bucks for it...she complained about her bottom too, got it at the bike shop. Then you can wear whatever shorts you want.
Woo Hoo for padded seats! |

Thanks OHD about the seat, its not the seat - its chafing from riding such a long time rather than sore muscles that most people get
Good to see them pompoms shaking! |

Rep Power: 79 | | well the last couple days have been busy - the damned alarm didnt go off this morning *grrr*
So i did 15 mins rapid on the bike before running around getting crap done. Yesterday i didnt even have fitday time so i had to do that this morning at work (recall everything i ate for the last day and half .. i was well under on the calories and even slipped in some pavlova with cream!).
I went out on a school trip with the kids yesterday so took the day off work - then i had to make up the hours so i still got paid - hence the busyness.
I also have a site/project that has to be finished by tonight/tomorrow which i havnt even started (just as well im a code guru eh!)
I took a fair few iron tablets as well as multi before the race last weekend and im wondering if thats partially the cause of lack of weight loss also. to much iron tends to make one constipated (sif you needed to know that, but this is my diary so nyaaah *tongue pokeing*)
I had a thing with my sons teacher pairing him up with a mentor lady who is comming to dinner tonight to meet up with the family. She doesnt seem at all like she has anything in common with my son so i dunno how its gonna work out. At least she has a older son who has similar interests so should be able to organize something.
Anyway im in a mad dash cooking dinner and cleaning currently then after that im workin my ass off. hopefully the weather will clear up so i can cycle with the group i go with on sunday - maybe keep up this time
Im thinkin of taking up walking, i dont have anything against jogging other than my pants keep falling down. If i can find a way around that im sweet! So my alternative is power walking for 30 mins every night or morning or something. |

Good to see them pompoms shaking! | Glad you got things sorted at that school. I still wanna smack that teacher though! I think I need anger management.
As for the seat, my apologies. I misunderstood. Good luck with those padded shorts, hope they do the trick for you. |

Rep Power: 0 | | Wow Wishes, you've been SUPER busy! You'll enjoy power walking, I know I do. Its quite invigorating and my pace is about that of a runner anyway and it's gentler on the knees. Though sometimes I just "have" to run, just get that urge that I can't fight.
Good luck on your ride, have fun and try not to work yourself nuts today! |

Rep Power: 51 | | Power walking is fun, but I feel like I look stupid when I do it. And my legs are so short, I can't keep up with any of my friends. |
