hehe having to walk up the main road in town needing to pee urgently (and im not entirely sure i was walking with legs uncrossed either!) on a friday night wasnt my idea of fun. It was either make a dash for the toilets up the road that were nice and clean and i knew where they were or use the ones at the resteraunt of which i had no idea where they were and i couldnt get anyones attention.
On another note, I found another love item that I can eat a fair bit of with low cal.
Pikelets! Small pancakes!
And because i make the recipe i leave out butter(so i can cook them in it) and use low fat milk. They work out to be 10 cal for a 2" round one. Then i just put lemon juice and maple syrup(imitation low cal one) on them (which may sound weird but is unbelieveably nice!)
I screwed up somewhat :/
I got my period and was overtired from lack of iron (even with suppliments). One of my eating triggers is tiredness - if im tired i eat
I ate 5 lamb chops at dinner and a cup of peas. I did remove the fat. which kind of makes it okish. But i went over my calorie limit today worse than yesterday.
Ive bought a much more potent iron supplement and added into my diary an alert for a few days before my next period so i can start upping the iron before i get it.
Im feeling a lil stink and still very very tired. I mostly feel stink because im over tired. I mean this is the only blowout really in 3 months ive been eating healthier. And ive still eaten less calories than ive used. Everything just gets emplified when im tired :/
I think I'll get an early night tonight.
wishes at least you know you went over and you did it with something your body should burn through fairly quickly. Now generally meat is high in calories, I wouldn't look up the value or calorie amount because you prob just don't want to know. What I do is just go for a walk to burn off a few extra. The cup of peas doesn't sound too bad. I guess it just depends on how far over you went. Hey just don't worry, you hit a speed bump thats all.
Well i made the yummest carrot cake ever. It was the first time ive ever made one before.
400 calories per slice, ive only had one slice so far lol.
I have to admit- if you have to bake a cake for somebody else .. this is the one.
The ingrediants look and seem disgusting before its cooked and iced. There is NO way i would want to be dipping my finger into the batter and licking the spoon!
Just a few listed here for sickness sake.
1/2 cup of oil
3 cups of carrot
3/4 cup of crushed pineapple
1/2 cup walnuts
grated orange peel & lemon peel
etc etc
I wonder if there is a healthier way to make it that still tastes good. That half cup of oil just made me wanna puke. It tasted great when cooked though
M2M, yeah I try not to deprive myself to often and always find some 'treat' i can fit into my calorie intake somehow.
I just makes you feel like its less of a diet
On another crap note, ive lost no weight this week at all. My calories is still way under my calories out even with the splurges. I think/hope its just because of my period.
Anyway Im gearing up to be biking to work every day. Its almost spring here so should be better weather soon. Its a bit wet at the moment still - and I have to put the seat back on my husbands bike and tighten the brakes (My bike is a bit to puckerood to be biking on - i really need a new one).
So its a 7km trip each way to work, and all of it hills! Going to work is fun, it only takes 30 minutes to get to work and about 60 minutes to get home (mostly uphill all the way home).

That's awesome wishes, if you keep it up even if it is just 3 days out of the week you'll notice a huge improvement on your time as well. Just remember to wear a helmet to protect that noggin of yours
cheers mike.
Helmets are required by law here. I do get worried because the main road is almost open road and a there is a lot of traffic all pushing and shoving.
The way home is long and painful but safer traffic wise.
I just went and bought some bike goggles/glasses so i can sweat without fogging up my glasses and without getting watery eyes lol
Believe it or not i used to race - about 17 years back in the late teens. I was super fit.
Cant wait to get back into it
Well I'll be cheering you on for sure.... I was just thinking about another advantage you have on the bike that I don't have.... Your hair (which I love btw) is nice and bright for safety sake!
