Talking ~ three wishes for wishes ~

So Im really disappointed.
I weighed in this week and have gained ever so slightly instead of loosing. Now Im not OVERLY fusssed about it because i changed my training at the gym to a much harder workout so its probably muscle, HOWEVER! IT STILL FEELS SO AWEFUL!

Don't beat yourself up over it, if it is muscle you're doing fine. Just keep on what your doing... try not to over do it as well.

all the best!

Muscle is good! Think how nice your clothes are going to fit with these nice new toned parts of your body---who cares what the scale says today!

Chin up! Your hard work is going to pay off in the long run!

awww thanks

Im seriously thinking about becomming a body builder when i get this excess weight off. Im very strong for a beginner and i love doing it.
I lift heavier weights than most men and I have broad shoulders

My teenage son said thats a great idea, because then when somebody says "im gonna get my bro to come beat you up" he can reply "well ill just go get my beefcake mum onto you!"

YES! YES ! YES! Who wants to know the fantastic news i got today ?!
Okay first I have to explain a few things. Im a 32 year old mother of 4 who works as a computer programmer/linux guru/sys admin type thing. I have NO time spare in the day except the evening, and the gym is not open in the evening after 9. This is why i get up early to go. I started at 6.30 then as workouts got longer i went at 6am and now i usually get up at 5-5.30am. Yesterday morning at the lights i had a red light for turning right and the guy next to me had a green light for turning left and i had to have a chuckle when he stayed stopped and was so half asleep he hadnt noticed until it was red and far to late to turn.

When i first started at the gym i noted my weight and every couple days would recheck it. after about a month they changed to new digital scales which weighed 3kg heavier. Since i dont want to 'gain' 3kg i just mentally take the 3kg off so I had an idea on where I was at, Im more interested in how much ive lost than the actual weight.
So yesterday in my half asleep state hadnt noticed that the 29 was actually a 28 ... which means
I HAVE LOST 1KG THIS WEEK!! WOOOOOOO!!!
*does a dance*
Im so happy! im glad i double checked! oh yeaaah!!! uhhaaah! oh riiiight! yeah baaaaby!

50? that's certainly nothing to beat yourself up over... I'm actually pretty impressed by your goal setting. 1200-1500.... good job. I've given myself a bit more room (especially when I cycle) with 1800-2500.

I'm amazed at the situps, 100? Impressive!

100 situps ? where did that come from? :O

I usually sit at about 1200-1300 cal if i can. I figure if im gonna loose weight i want to do it NOW not next year. Cutting it as close as i can and doing tons of exercise to keep the metabolism up and help it along

I love to cycle but its very hilly here and i never have the time to much - i should get back into cycling to work and back (7km each way on very steep hills), only that means i have to move the vibra training to when i have the kids (which means they scream and fight while im doing it lol)

Guys need higher calories than females because of faster matabolsm, ive been watching your thread too hehe. I couldnt believe how many cal the beer cost you!

Grr Went to the usual coffee place and got take out coffee this morning and for some reason they put chocolate sprinkles on top . I had no idea because it was a takeaway cup and i drank it and didnt notice until i opened the lid when it was empty to get the last dregs :/

Shouldnt make a difference to the diet, but i feel like crap anyway. must be PMS or something or ovulating (sore tummy too).

Least i dont have the cold that my friends seem to all have - that would really piss me off . I somewhat believe its because im so much more healthier now than i was.

Hi Wishes, don't worry about your weight if you are building muscle. Muscle is heavier than fat, but the good news is....more muscles, better calorie burnage. You're doing great!

Okay who wants to see pics?
I was feeling disappointed because i seem to have hit a platau and i was determined not to :/

So here you goes http://wishes.debian.co.nz/weight/

These pics were taken about a year ago - i was actually bigger than that when i started :/
I can see it in the tummy and face and i guess generally all over, but i think i look more toned than i was by a lot.
Please excuse my lack luster pink hair - pic was taken at 7am after getting home from the gym. I havnt had time for doing my hair in ages
