Rep Power: 0 | | | Angie's Diary :o) So...I actually registered for my account a couple months back. Unfortunetly I didn't start to change my habits until a couple weeks ago. I'll actually post my official start date as 8-7-2006. When i weighed myself at my parents house on 8-1-2006 I was at 287. Then I had weighed myself on 8-14-2006 at my boyfriends house and I was at 268. Seems to me the scales are calibrated differenty. Cause there is NO way someone can loose 19lbs in one week. But I will consitantly be weighing myself on his scale until i get down to my goal weight. My days are pretty busy as i do work 2 jobs. But...at my day job we have a gym in the office. So during lunch i've been doing 40 minutes on the eliptical on a level 5 resistance. On the weekends I have been going to the gym i belong to and doing the same thing. I want the weight off so bad that i'm planning on working out 6-7 days a week. I refuse to fail! As for my diet I've been doing 3 meals a day. Kinda switching it up each day and i will start to document them tomorrow. So with 117 more pounds to go to my goal weight i'm in for the long haul. But I'm going to stick with it...and cant wait till i fit into my size 10 pants!! That's all for now. I look foward to supporting all of you! WE CAN DO THIS!! |

Rep Power: 0 | | I totally feel you, i do the whole three meals a day too, my trainer has told me to do six little meals a day do prevent from eating later in the day but that doesn't work for me because if i eat little of something that's going to make me crave more of it. GOod to know im not the only one, keep it up, we can do it for sure! By the way from your picture i would of guessed you at about at least 150 pounds, you have a nice thin face. |

Rep Power: 0 | | Hey misslovley! Thanks for the reply I only eat 3 meals a day because that's really all i have time for. We really should be eating 5-6 but who has time for that?! When i was 19 I was in similar situation as you. Well maybe I was 20 i cant remember. But i had seen a personal trainer for about 3 months. I started at 246 lbs and when i stopped seeing him i was at 190. (actually looked pretty good) I too have a large frame but i weighed 150 in high school and want to be down to that again!! You can definetly loose the weight before new years! You're young and seem to be pretty darn determined. So dont slip and you'll get there for sure Oh and that's just a good picture of me...i do have a chubby face! I'll attach a better picture. I'll also attach a photo of me when i was 190. |

You are doing awesome and congrats on making the decision to change! I eat 5-6 meals a day, but it was really hard at first. I had to think of it as 3 meals and 2-3 snacks. I just making sure I'm getting a protien source, a complex carb and a fruit or veggie. It sounds worse than it actually is. A great snack is a small yogurt, a handful of granola and some berries. Protien bars are awesome. My fav. EAS-myoplex light caramel peanut! But do what works for you!! It's all about making the changes that best suite your lifestyle, and that you can stick with. Your'e right..... we can do this!!!! |

Rep Power: 0 | | So every morning that i wake up...i feel better than the last day. What an awesome feeling to take control of something and dominate. This probably sounds strange but I'm actually loving the challange. Success is sweeter when the task is so big Alexia, I know im really lucky that we have a gym here. It's really nice and suprisingly im usually the only one in there! A couple times a week theres a couple other girls that i run into in there but i've got it to myself the majority of the time. So my food intake for...
8/17/2006
Breakfast
1 cup cottage cheese- 160 cal, 1.5 fat, 10 carb, 26 protein
Quaker oatmeal weight control- 160 cal, 3 fat, 29 carb, 7 protein
Lunch
Swedish Meatballs lean cusine- 289 cal, 7 fat, 32 carb, 22 protein
Pudding (fat-free, sugar free)- 31 cal, 7 carb, 1 protein, 0 fat
Dinner
Subway club sandwich( no mayo, no cheese)- 320 cal, 6 fat, 47 carb, 24 protein
So that's 951 cal for the day. Getting better. Im not even sure how many I should be eating. Maybe a little bit more. It's so hard when i dont have the time to eat and i dont feel hungry! But...I'll try harder. Also, I'm starting my 6 week challange on 8-21. Im sooo excited! I've decided that im going to start taking a picture every 6 weeks. This way i can document my weight loss in photos. I think this will be good |
