My final weight loss program

I think the reason I'm fat is because I'm addicted to food... I have all the symptoms... I eat until I'm sick of eating, then I promise myself I'll quit eating unhealthy food... and then I eat again.

Any ideas how I can get over this?

first of all your not alone
I know exactly how you feel i even ate when i wasnt hungry just because it was there
but one day i made a decision i really wanted to lose weight for me
you got to want to really do this but just remember small steps at a time
you can do this keep a diary of what you eat , ry to replace som e high calorie /fat food with something more healthy and drinks plenty of water

yeah, you're definitely not alone...I think it's great that you took the step to come here, it shows you're serious about wanting to get things taken care of. I agree...keep a diary of what you're eating and be totally honest about it. You may find you'll pass up eating simply b/c you don't want that feeling of writing down all you've eaten.

Thanks! The first thing I'm going to do is to stop eating in the cafeteria and carry my own lunch and snacks. That way I'll have greater control over what I eat!

Great start!! Start paying attention to those times when you are overeating,
and you will begin to figure out what triggers that behavior. I know you will be successful at losing weight.

I'm back after a week.. have lost a pound.. its a small start but I'm happy since I ate right 70% of the time... I still binged like last night when I was out with friends.

Weightloss involves so many lifestyle changes... one of them is to stop eating out with slim friends and plan activities with them that does not involve food
