I decided to start a new diary. I hope it's okay with you guys, I didn't like the last one very much (I always forgot to post and sounded arrogant )
I hope that by starting this I'll feel more motivated, also I'm a long way from being "junior member" so posting regularly in this will help.
My plan: 1200 calories a day, walk/jog two miles a day.
See my ticker for more info. I weigh myself every Sunday, so hopefully I'll get to update my sig in two days!
I'd like to achieve my goal before April, but truthfully I'd be happy to reach it before summer, as long as the weight goes down steadily. Summer has always been my least favourite season because you're expected to wear less clothing. (I hate the way I look in shorts and sleeveless tops) But I know that, as long as I continue the plan, I will be more confident in 2007.
See you around!
Edit: Forgot to post my height! I'm 5"2 & 3/4. So, almost 5"3.

I'm doing the 1200 calories a day/walking plan too and I'm right around your SW and we have the same goal in mind! I'm trying to lose it by march, but I feel the same way about summer as you.
Good luck!!!
^ Hey, we do have a lot in common! I'm gonna follow your diary.
Anyway, I already did my excercise today. I jogged a lot more than usual. I'm really excited about weighing in tomorrow! My cousin almost convinced me to do it right now, because he's really curious. It was hard not to, but I didn't, because then tomorrow wouldn't be "the big day" anymore.
It will be the first time since I started dieting that I go a week without weighing myself! How sad is that!
I'm having lunch really soon. I think I'll have some sort of sandwich, with vegetables. (My mom, who is a nutritionist, likes to do the calorie counting, so I usually leave it to her.)
I think I'm 1 pound lighter.
150 - 1 = 149
I was on the scale for about five minutes, because the numbers were all over the place. 149, 148, 150, 147... So I'm not exactly sure. I think my scale is mocking me.
Well, we'll see who comes out first in the end, won't we? *evil, demented grin*
I started a ticker countdown for my birthday, 'cause it's that time of year again And I entered in the October 1 Month Challenge. My goal for October is 9 pounds so I can be 140.

I changed the incline setting on my treadmill. Same distance, same amount of time, except now I'm burning 300 calories instead of 200.
Also, I think I'll change my weigh-in day from Sunday to Friday. That way, there will be less chance of having gone to a restaurant or something the night before.
Now to get this homework done...

sounds like a great line up. Dont be discouraged by the scale readings, make sure to accompany that with a six week measurement of your body. this will weed out any issues like water weight or fluctuations of your scale. also, i totally understand about the scale problem, i've got one of the needle ones too and my weigh in last week went somewhere between 161 to 163--i think i jumped on and off of that thing like 20 times! i was thinking about getting a digital one, but didn't know if it would fluctuate too. tell me how that goes.
